I'm going to make an educated guess and say that Talimancers are 40% of the mass effect forumgoers, Tali-Haters are 20%, and people who don't really care are the other 40%.

Does this sound about right?

I have a very strong feeling that the Quarians AND th Geth will play not only a large role but depending on whether you took the Paragon or Renegade path with them they will play key roles in how ME3 turn out. It would not surprise me in the least if Bioware somehow think up a plausible twist with the whole Quarian / Geth situation and give us an end play worthy of cheers.

The Quarian-geth conflict is one of the most compelling stories of the game.  I just want moar!

Which is why I hope it doesn't get sidelined during ME3 and the overarching war.  It is why I hope it comes out as an expansion.

I would think the Tali-haters are smaller, but not sure.  They are vocal, but I think more people don't care.

in ME3, it won't be about recruiting squad members (even though i know Ash, Kaiden, and Liara will make a return) i think it wil be about recruiting armys to fight the Reapers. Then kill them all in Haestrom's super nova

You know, I just did an analytical essay on battlestar galactica, and man was that show cheesy. By the final paragraph I had to make a joke because I couldn't handle the level of cheese I was writing. I had to say that, while the show was about acceptance, there was still the matter of GENOCIDE to get in the way of peace.



Thankfully the geth-Quarian conflict isn't as black and white.

A Quarian conflict/Tali Luv expansion would be very welcome. 
That might be better than a side-story in ME3 (although the Quarians and Tali *must* have a good role in that game anyway).

Was the same by me except I romanced Liara and when Kelly told me that Tali loves me I didn't consider anything and went immediately to engineering deck.

tali haters only exist because talimancers are very obnoxious and constantly bombard the forums with everything related to that quarian. I liked her since ME1, and many people did as well, but when hordes of horny white boys always talk about her it does get annoying

i had no idea she was romancable until Kelly said something. I was timid at first, then the Tali loyalty mission came, then the "Im interested" conversation.... then the most awsome face melting conversation with the music next to the ships core and the playing with hands, I WAS SOLD!
