It fades to black. Probably Bioware's best choice since it allows us the unwashed masses to come to our own conclusions.

At least that was their reasoning behind fading to black during the Kelly dinner.

You know, I wish the Tali romance didn't have to involve sex.  If Shepard truly loved her, he wouldn't endanger her life that way.  That is the conclusion I keep coming to.  I am not trying to hate on anyone who thinks otherwise, just stating my opinion.  Tali is an awesome character, I just wish things were different for her and her people.

I'm only half messing around with you guys. This is a valid topic to discuss, even though you might not like to talk about it.

It's definitely valid. 
I did have some reservations about sleeping with her, and used all the safest conversation options ("whenever you're ready", "as long as it's safe", that sort of thing).

But she didn't want to use stimulation programs or anything like that, and I could never turn her down.

Well, I guess technically we don't know for certain what they did together. We all assume that they had sex, though the game really doesn't say it. The biggest "clue" we have is that Tali really wanted to feel Shepard's skin on hers.

We know for a fact that they kissed, since we saw it. And it's almost a fact that she got out of her suit (she stressed the skin part). What else happened, we don't know.

In ME3, they could very well retcon it into them never actually having sex, and it wouldn't violate any of the established facts.

It's not a matter of doubt. I prefer Tali to 2 of the 3 options in BG2 but the romances in that game are simply deeper.

More developed, gradual and with superior climaxes.

I remembered that "skin" part, I thought she satisfied that with a kiss.

Will have to play. Have to see for self. But until then, will play ME2.
