Tali, and potentially Shepard, could also have been building their feelings for eachother since the first game. So their relationships are comparatively less abrupt than some of the new squadmates introduced in ME2 if you add everything together. Garrus has the same benefit.

On the sex or no sex thing, no woman I know would leap on top of you pinning you down in bed 'just' to kiss you. At least not from my own experience.



Also, Mordin would not need to give Shepard an video guide in regards to 'comfortable positions for a Human / Quarian paring which was probably qued by Tali's visit prior to Shepard's own visit if all he thought they would do is kiss.

Yeah that's what I was saying!

They interacted with each other for months during ME1. And afterwards, two years is plenty time for Tali to put her feelings were into perspective and look at them logically.

In Shepard's case, his mind was basically stuck 2 years ago. While two years passed for everyone else, for him that time didn't exist; it's like when you go to sleep--you have no track of the time that passes. So his feelings for Tali in ME2 were basically what they were at the end of ME1.
