The American government is flawed in so many ways.  Things like the Senate - designed as a compromise to give little groups of people the same influence as large groups - still exist hundreds of years after they stopped being needed. 

Thats good in a republic when it gives a minority more say in government, but not like it is now where the "minorty groups" are corporations.

But should a state such as Wyoming (pop: 544,270) have the same influence as California (pop: 36,961,664) in the Senate?
As for corporations...that recent supreme court ruling opened the door for even more corruption due to corporate influence.

What government out there isn't flawed? There is no such thing as a perfect government, people will always want things to be different then they are.

That's true, the Government of Canada for example is always in some form of political chaos.........like when the Liberals, NDP and Bloc Quebecois tried to throw a coup and form a Coalition Government..........that was fun<_<
