Fluff is always nice to see. A pairing like Shepard and Tali is overflowing with romantic possibilities. However, it can be difficult to balance the fluff to a degree were things can avoid becoming cliche or overly sappy. The best fics can find an acceptable medium between the two while still maintaining that real emotion that the characters feel for each other.

My two cents.
