Actually, no. 
The point was to do something to make myself stop feeling bad about getting Tali killed. It seriously did upset me. So I wrote this story to express some of the things I felt by using Shepard's POV of the event.
I seriously wasn't expecting anyone to even READ it let alone like it as much as they have.
I've honestly never been so flattered before in my life.

EDIT:  At least that femshep doesn't have fabulous hair, that would have been a cheap shot ontop of some dirty fighting

It really is excellent writing.  Just incredibly tragic and depressing for a Talimancer to read. 

You should write more...with happy endings.

Maybe. But I think it at least warrants an inquiry on her end.

Miranda has had two years to get all the Shepard she could stand.  One could legitimately say she's the galaxy's foremost expert on Shepard.  If Shep is a Spacer, she probably knows him better than his own mother does.  I guarantee she thinks she already knows all there is to know about him.  Miranda is a person who makes assumptions and then sticks to them:  see her very, very faulty advice during the suicide mission and her dogged insistence that Cerberus had nothing to do with Jack.  Her responce to Shep's rejection suggests she doesn't think twice about why he might be doing it.

I'd like to state for the record that despite the flak I'm giving Miranda, I actually do like her character.
