In all honesty folks, how can you love a bunch of zeros and ones? And on the other side (trolls here): why do you care if these people choose to love zeros and ones so much? This all seems a bit pointless. Maybe I just don't understand.

The love for Tali is an extension of a love for ME2 in general.  Surely you don't see anything wrong with being a fan of a video game.  Those here are just more specific in supporting their favorite part of said video game.  We know that we aren't going to marry Tali in real life, it doesn't mean we can't focus on her character over, say, the combat system.  ME2's focus was to make the player develop a strong connection with the characters, and it succeeded.  More people like Tali than the other characters, but does that really change anything?

As far as the trolls, I still contend that most don't care about Tali, they just want to troll, and this is the highest traffic area.  Others are a victim of hype backlash.  If you're indifferent about something, and legions of others like it, you're more apt to hate it for no reason.  Others take an us vs them look at the situation, and see Tali as an enemy to their characters.  Many reasons, none are worthy of worrying about though.

*edit* doublepost, I blame the T-bomb :pinched:

Simon crawled out from the ditch he was lying in, and looked across the scene of beautiful desolation around him.  He had not been in the bunker, he had taken most of the force of the T-bomb detonation.  But his gaming rig had held strong.  As far as the eye could see there were flattened buildings and stumps of trees, but for some inexplicable reason, he felt happy.  A side effect of the T-waves from the blast, no doubt.

He picked up Chikkita vas Paus, who he had come out to save. She was hurt, but she would recover in time.  Then slowly, he began to limp back towards the Talimancer's bunker.  The troll had been dealt with; he would bother them no more.

I think we should actually, seeing this is a Tali forum.

Tali is quite a likeable character(easily the most likeable of the squad), shes kinda like Aerie from Baldurs gate 2(though Aerie whinged alot about losing her wings).

what happens to his body is up to the council

Have you guys noticed how Tali stands kind of leaning back a bit compensating for her recurve legs? I like it
