Well...they can hurt you. Jacob glitched out and stood on my head and Miranda blocked my retreat to cover. I control my squad for the most part, but for the times they're on their own AI I need the squad I trust. IMO Miranda Jacob and Jack are flawed cuz they won't, stop, hopping, on, boxes!

I knows how to direct Tali, Grunt, and Thane better than the others. Even Garrus shines in between deaths.

Tali doesn't seem to require much direction, excpet once when she charged Harbinger and four drones by herself. I tried to call her back but no luck. So I rolled with it, gave covering fire, directed Garrus to do the same and the Charge of the Quarian brigade ended up in a lot of dead collectors and no loss of medigell

Agreed. On Insanity you're forced to make her put away The B*tch (shotgun) for the most part, but even with just a pistol and an "excruciatingly long" C-Drone recharge time, she still survives as long as anyone else I have. Those who say "she's the weakest character", Idk, maybe I'm just really good at directing Tail in combat

To get the most out of the shotgun, use squad incindiary ammo, its divine, almost doubles her" killin stuff" power
I'm not sure whether to max out her passive for more weapon dmg or longer duration though

Dropped Cryo and Concussive Shot and added Reave to my Soldier. Got Squad Incindiary and Disruptor Tali has whichever Passive gives her the most health, haven't played in awhile so memory isn't clear. Lovin that Thresher Maw with all of us using Eviscerators, and any mission with Husks talking about this makes me realize I need to play this game again!
