Cerberus uses it to find a way to blow up the Reapers, but then they use the resulting technology to enslave the other races and put humans on top.  Then Tali dumps you for giving such insane technology to the organization that attacked the migrant fleet.

Oh, and TIM kicks a puppy.

Edit: Or option #2 -- the base indoctrinates everyone by itself and the Reapers win.

thats why I need EVERYBODY's feedback

One of Shepard's lines after I blew it up was "I'm still gunna stop the Reapers, and I'll do it without sacrificing the soul of our species" or something like that. It made me feel good about blowing it up.

When I saved it, TIM's "watch hologram of collector base as camera fades out" scene had me worried. Just intuition, it probably won't be that big of a deal.

I don't trust TIM in the least when it comes to that.
Think of all the terrible things Cerberus does..and then think of what they would do if they could build Reapers.
Maybe it would be Cerberus abducting colonists next and turning them into goo..."For the greater good of humanity, of course."

TIM has played Shepard, and my Shep sure as hell isn't going to trust him with that much advanced and dangerous technology.  Blowing it up is the only option I could chose.

Either save possibly useful, yet dangerous technology, earning scorn of every crewmember.
Or destroy and tell TIM to go away.
Personally would still like to burn TIM alive...but is next best thing.

See simon That was my reasoning aswell for my default soo far, going from veteran to hardcore, but now since im on insanity my last run on my default, before i open another, Im wondering... what do I really want to do... and what is best option for ME3

they launched... if yuo have ever seen, every time a hate thread apears their always in here beforee we find out abuot it, then when we do find it, we figure out its origion time was 10-20 mins before then and all discusting evil pictures are used in first 2 pages were same put in here

The base is brutally melting people, turning them into goo, and putting them into the construction of an unpredictable, giant killing machine.
If TIM thinks he can control all that he may be mistaken...his research teams couldn't even handle a derelict Reaper.
And if he does find a way to harness it...god help us all.  He works to further Cerberus' interests, everyone else be damned. 

I found his reasoning relatively sound, but his motives suspicious.
