She is my favorite LI because her romance seems the most genuine out of all the Maleshep romances and you don't have to dig through mental issues to get to the meat of it. You don't have to get past egotism or trust issues with Tali, she still comes across as the strongest LI. Miranda is cold and Jack is distant, but Tali is there for you when you needed her, and you were there for her.
She seems to need you around more often than you ever need her though...
And I'm not loathe to help people with their problems, but I got the impression that Tali was more capable of dealing with them on her own. She suggests taking back the Alerei and she suggests what to do with the data regarding her father's experiments. She isn't dragged down by the death of her father, a father she barely knew and who she felt always ignored her. Some people would be scarred by having a parent who they felt was never around, they might feel as if they weren't loved. Tali never seemed to display any real issue (by real issue I don't mean mildly insulted or vaguely neglected, I mean feeling like she wasn't loved by anyone, depressed over it) with that stuff, giving me the impression she was strong.
If I did so much for her and became her friend in ME1 why didn't she come looking for me when I died? Hell, even Liara did.

I understand the necessity from a gamemakers standpoint for having liara hunt down my body but I still think Liara was being weak. She couldn't let go of me, I was freaking dead and she necromanced me into life again. She was obsessed and she let her obsession drive her. She let her depression at my death overcome her, and that is weak. Tali and the rest of the team let go and moved on for the most part, which is what strong people do.Dark_Caduceus wrote...

So after saving her life and helping her complete her pilgrimage and being generally nice to her and letting her live on my ship, giving her access to said ship's critical systems(a stupid level of trust in hindsight) I'm not one of her own people? I'm just her lackey to pull her out of the fire? But when I'm dead she jsut goes "Deeeerp! I think i'm gonna be a quasi celebrity in the flotilla!".
