Well, I was the one who started the most recent "What is it about those Tali fans" thread.  For details ask Goat_Shepard or SirEmilCrane.  Basically It was about asking why Tali fans seem to rub people the wrong way and how you shouldn't judge people by their reputations.  I was the one who conducted the social experiment here a few days back. 

I don't know that it is possible to actually be peaceful on the internet but I am very good at it in real life.  I've had a lot of experience defusing tense situations.  Just sayin.

I say give him a chance, his thread was good, it had some good points, but as usual the trolls got to it, and the liara fans reacted horribly.

I will need to remain an independant party, maybe more of an ally than a member.  If I am percieved as a part of the Tali thread I will immediately be ignored.  If I maintain my own identity I can argue both sides, so not so much a foreign minister as an entity on my own.

That is how I can do the most good.  If I am seen as on my own then both sides can consider my advice without being able to say I am on one side or the other.  More like a one man council than a part of a council.  A moderator without bias.

Consider me a man you can go to to help diffuse a situation. Actual moderators are percieved as an authority figure, and most people don't respond the same way to an authority figure as they do to a fellow forumite. That is how it works in the real world at least.
