Some of the RvB character's appeal (as well as some of Tali's appeal) is derived from the fact that you don't see their faces. I saw some fanart of the RvB characters without their helmets and it felt a little strange.

Its really the only scene that casts Tali in a negative light when you think about it.  She stereotypes Jacob as a Cerberus dog without even trying to get to know him.  That's not my open minded sweet Tali

It isn't like she has no experience with people judging her for other people in her group's actions or anything

well you have to remember Cerberus attacked the flotilla ... not to mention Shepard also took down there genetic mutation research bases in ME1 so I think her anger is justified.

I think it portrays her perfectly, she's always defensive of her people; and cerberus attacked the flotilla so she's still cautious of them. Though the fact she's willing to work on a cerberus vessel does show how accepting she is, even of people she doesn't trust or particularly like.

Jacob wasn't even *trying* to be nice. He threw in that line about EDI at the last second
knowing what Tali's reaction would be. Also, Tali was just trying to tell Shepard to stay
on his toes around Cerberus. She'd didn't really know Jacob at that point, and I'm sure
she changed her view about his relationship with Cerberus later. So, you can't say Tali
was being ****y. Jacob, though, acted like an Ass with his little comment.

The quarians do not deserve such judgement. Cerberus deserves worse.

What about infiltrating the Flotilla and trying to blow up a starship would make Tali be open minded and sweet?

I won't argue that fact that the AI comment was uncalled for. I will argue that Tali was being a little unreasonable.
