In the second game that friendship evolved into something much deeper. I think it would just be amazing (and wouldn't take away from the story at all) if in the third game we got to see if their relationship can hold.

Don't get me wrong, I love how things are now.  That doesn't mean there weren't possible ways to make things better.  Being better friends in ME, even if it was completely platonic, would have been a lot better in my mind.  It could still have left Tali doubting that Shepard could romantically like her, and we would have gotten an extra Tali hug before stealing the Normandy

Nothing, it had something to do with making someone cry out of a class room though that someone mentioned.  Even though I wasn't the cause, I couldn't help but laugh everytime they ran out of the class room and were afraid to enter again.

This seems like the most likely thing that would have gone through Shepard's mind. She's an entirely different species, has a nonexistant immune system and is the daughter of an Admiral! How could he even stand a chance?

Not what I meant to imply. Tradition is clearly important to her. Doubly so considering her lineage.

Anyways, Shepard must have had feelings for her back during Mass Effect 1 because being clinically dead for two years makes it hard to think about someone.

Could have had feelings but might not have thought it appropriate to act on them. Might have thought it better to avoid complicating their relationship.

I agree, I like Tali's slight and skinny build, I do not like Miranda's "pah-fect" build
