Well I actually think that stuff isn't as big of a deal as the fact that she is scheduled to leave to return to the flotilla right after the journey is done.  I think if she was going to stay on the Normandy, it wouldn't hurt to look into how a relationship between a human and quarian would work.  The fact that the relationship would take a while to get over the initial humps, and would then be a long distance relationship on top of that could have pushed him away.

Its a good point. I mean even if she was crazy about shep in ME1, she also made it clear that she "would never abandon her people." Would she really be thinking about anything longer than a one night stand (with she might also think was impossible) when she had duties back on the fleet.

Well I don't think Tali would ever anticipate a one night stand.  Not with a human at least.  I'm not sure whether she knows if sex is even an option at the point, but if she cared enough to go that far, it wouldn't be a one and done thing.  I think she would be willing to work on a long term relationship from the flotilla.  It isn't like they could never see each other, space travel is routine, but I can see how it would dissuade Shep from looking to start a relationship.

That's why I think an ME1 relationship would have to just be a budding thing.  Something that started getting more serious, but was cut short at good friends by the collectors. 

Wow ANOTHER reason to like Tali. She isnt a wh*re!

That really would have been great. I would have loved to see how that scene would have played out with Tali.

I renegaded Liara and Ashley and that scene is bogus. Nobody comes, Shepard just plops on the ground and nobody comes till Joker pipes in. Of course I was nice to Tali, if she woulda been in the scene it coulda been purely platonic, or not either way...legendary.

*sigh* oh well. I'm content.
