What can I say? I'm not a big fan of the concept of a monogamous(bad spelling probably) relationship based on a theology that can not be proven nor disproven by any means save a few scrolls written in a dialect that only a handful of people still alive can supposedly interpret.

Not to mention that the major driving force behind marriage through much of the dark ages was the roman catholic church, an organization that was used more often than not for its own ends and not the work of their God. *shrug* enough on theology thou let's get back to Tali

I agree with all of your points and share your skepticism except for the bit about being outright hostile towards the thought of a monogamous relationship. Personally I still enjoy the symbolic gesture of marriage although it has been, and still is, in many ways also a business transaction. I'd like to find one woman to experience and build a life with, however there is also some concern about that. It is unrealistic to think that we won't find other people attractive. What we choose to do about that, or not do, is perhaps the main sticking point. I'm not sure I'm completely comfortable with the thought of having to hide potential desire for other women for the rest of my life. Then again, if I'm with a woman I also find desirable then it greatly diminishes that issue (and for some open relationships work too but that's not something I personally want to delve in to).

Ah well, I'm single at present time with no attachments, so single ladies! Start your engines! One of you may just end up sweeping me off my feet.

Just wanted to clarify my point - it was hard for me to deal with the mess up of liara in me2, I really liked her and she was a LI in one of my me1 playthroughs, but then again Tali and you know the story.

A similiar fu*k up would be something I could not stand

I think that's part of my problem, I want a woman who can think for herself but still stands by me and offers her support to what I want to do. And vice versa. Hard to find an intelligent woman willing to back you up these days, they tend to stand on their own and lead you around through a ring in your nose.

Or worse they want you to lead them around and pamper them like some kind of collectors item. Just cant find a decent real woman anymore
