I brought Tali with me everywhere on insanity except for the Collector ship, becuase she always seems to go down when fighting the collectors on the platforms.

Same, if I were an Engineer I would've taken Tali and Chiktikka everywhere, but as an Infiltrator, sniper crossfire is simply better. (Thane + Zaeed/Garrus(/soon Legion) FTW!)
Though Chiktikka's distraction and her short range firepower and hacking skills do occasionally come in handy, so it's not like I don't take her with me at all.

Sorry Tali, it's all my fault! If I were a better player I'd be able to take you with me, I'm such a failure!

what class are you playing? Because as a solider Tali is a really good squadmate

Chiktikka was a great help fighting the collectors. Kept most of the heat of me.

Soldier

Leran to love that combat drone boy, it'll save your life multiple times. Cast it on harbingers or scions and they get stuck in a loop of starting their attacks then getting stunned and starting over. I completed the collector ship as a soldier with Tali and Garrus in my squad, not too bad.

This is a good team.

Tali's concern for humans and Earth is very touching, considering she doesn't particularly have to care.

Zaeed's "I'm not letting them do that sh*t to us!" line about what the Reapers did to the protheans is great, too.
