I don't disagree with your comments. I'm an idealist at heart. Living has injected me with a healthy dose of realism as well. I also happen to be a romantic but that doesn't mean one ought to automatically turn all logic off and not maintain some semblance of pragmatism. I've followed relationships to new countries and I do not regret it even though they didn't last. Would I do so again? Maybe. Depends on a number of factors at the time and place. I'm not old but I'm not a young adult either anymore. I've been through the dating/relationship "meat grinder" several times and learned things from it. That's swell. It has also imparted some scars however.

I think it is certainly still possible that I can meet someone I'm happy with and vice versa, however it is not guaranteed. I could also end up never being married, having children nor settling down with one woman to grow old together with. This is just as plausible an outcome as the other. That's not meant to be depressing nor gloomy; it's simply being realistic in acknowledging a possible alternative outcome.

Well true that, but that's the tragic part of the whole story. There is this part out there, perfectly matching you. But there's no guarantee you'll find that one. Some of us are lucky, some of us will not be. But just trying to think that way will put relationships in a new light and maybe some of them, your not thinking fighting for them is worth it, will suddenly be. And well, the last person you have to face when things come to an end is you, and in those seconds the brightest light that could shine be the one, that tells you that you tried everything and you have nothing to regret.

Perhaps you should take a trip to the Miranda thread, she's 35 and likely sagging in the next 10 years, may not find much discussion there. Add up the amount of discussion remotely related to Tali here, including the constant "Keelah Se'lai", you will still have over 1,000 pages of Tali related discussion. Basic observations don't roll with you, do they?

Fair play to the Tali fanbase for keeping these threads going like this. If any Bioware devs take the time to look at the fan threads for Tali and the other characters I'd say it probably does a lot to brighten their day knowing the characters they worked so hard on have had such an impact. So yeah, rock on guys and gals.
