Coincidentally I am in the process of erasing Steam from my computer.

I hat it too but it is necessary to play MW2, so I put up with it

Just get it for the console. There's nothing special about the PC version.

I'm better with a mouse and keyboard. I don't want to pay to play online, xbox is broke and I can stay in ADS forever
better for presicion shots

I bought it retail back in 2006 when it came out, and played it some, but I haven't in a long time. Hell, the only reason I have it on Steam is because I bought some THQ pack that included it.

What's kinda funny is I probably haven't even played like 2/3 of the games on my Steam list... I just keep buying them on sales, thinking "I'll get them cheaply now and play them later!", but I never do.

The Christmas sales Steam had were insanity. 

Still haven't played half the games I bought, but it felt good to get them so cheaply.
