But having no idea what contributes to happiness in the long term, I can only speculate and try to keep her happy in the present.

agh so I looked on youtube n junk but everything has blasted music and ship noise.  The ship noise I can almost deal with but it would be easier/ quicker with some clean Tail audio.  Does nobody know where to get this besides the PC ver.

Kind of like Tali losing Shepard to him dying before she could tell him how she feels, and living for 2 years wondering what could have been different?

Or facing a trial endangering your spot with your own people on top of finding out that your father is dead, leading to findind out that there is only one person always there for you.

My Shep and Tali have had their sad moments thank you very much.  I'm just fine with building houses on Rannoch and chilling in the sun

One thing I'm a little touched by is the last-convo-before-final-battle with Tali. Always asking if you're still interested in her.

"Why are YOU asking ME if I'M still interested? I'm in love with yo- OHP *clasps hands to mouth* I mean, I don't love you, per se, I mean I do, I just...

*Tali eyes him feverishly going into attitude pose*

..."I am in love with you"

*pounce*

I know that conversation loop is a limitation of the game in that they wanted to keep all romance options open, but I really wish they put in a romance lock option.  An extra line that basically promises Tali that she's the only one for you and closes off the other relationships.  I have no need for an opt out clause for a relationship with Tali.  If I was in Shepard's position I would be sure to have something to say to Tali to assure her that she doesn't have to doubt herself anymore.

Its cute at first how she still doubts herself, but after the second time, my Shep would definitely be telling her that there's nothing to worry about

Exactly. First of all, the convo loop is not a pleasant reminder of some of the "possibilities" that are open to gamers lol make up your damn mind!

I like that switch you describe. Tali totally unsure of herself, Shepard realizing she's in a crazy situation, so he throws in some humor "nice to see you smiling, so to speak, and "captains orders", but maybe Shepard is just as nervous (especially my "virgin" Shepard) but he puts up a front so that there is a sense of control, cuz if they were both wringing their hands being all nervous, it wouldn't help the situation (ya know, losing your virginity to an alien, sounds like something from Futurama ) Then at the end Tali gains more composure and Shepard turns into the babbling idiot lol but now I'm just spoutin my hopes for ME3
