It's really kind of funny that Tali would remember Pressly fondly.  I guess the change in him was apparent by the end.

Same thing with Ashley, really.  They got off to kind of a "Jacob" start with the whole "what are we going to do about the quarian" thing.

Yeah, but Jacob's assiness was gone after that first incident.  Ashley is rather hostile towards Tali if you put off recruiting Liara.  I don't know enough of the dialogue of ME1 to really comment, but I never saw the relationship between Tali and Ash as very good.
