Yeah, but Jacob's assiness was gone after that first incident.  Ashley is rather hostile towards Tali if you put off recruiting Liara.  I don't know enough of the dialogue of ME1 to really comment, but I never saw the relationship between Tali and Ash as very good.

Placeholder hostility, but in the elevator conversations Tali treats Ash with a lot of respect, almost like she was some kind of role model

Can't tell if Ash reciprocated or not
