I haven't read all of the comic, but it looks like she justs tole it from the Shadow Broker and gave the body to cerberus to revive....

Neither Samara nor Mordin when I brought each of them along on Tali's loyalty mission through two separate play throughs.

 

That actually bothered me alittle about some of the side quests (Tali's in particular) The other squadmate just does...nothing. I get that its not their time in the spotlight but alittle dialoge to show that they are actually aware of whats going on around them would be nice

Jack's for instance. The other character actually says quite alot during her sidequest.
