That actually bothered me alittle about some of the side quests (Tali's in particular) The other squadmate just does...nothing. I get that its not their time in the spotlight but alittle dialoge to show that they are actually aware of whats going on around them would be nice

Jack's for instance. The other character actually says quite alot during her sidequest.

Aye, I would have liked that too. Seeing Samara or Mordin (or Jack or Miranda based on some of the YouTube videos,) sitting on the stairs during the opening part of Tali's trial with all the apparent enthusiasm of a stuffed moose head hanging on a wall was...a bit disappointing, IMO.

True, the lack of Dialouge between crew members is sometimes very disturbing. Take meeting Liara as an example. According to the comics, she's met Miranda, so she should know her. If you take Garrus and Tali with you, she should ATLEAST notice them too. The same goes for Wrex. Garrus who? Tali ho?
And on Tali's recruitment, Garrus says nothing.

On Garrus's on the other hand, if you leave her with Garrus to defend she'll refer back to old times. Great, but its not ment for you to take her on that mission. 
I'd like more things like on the Citadel with the stairs:
Garrus: you ever miss those talks we had on the elevators?
Shepard: YES!!

You know, you have to wonder whether Tali's popularity surprised the ME writers. Tali's -and- Garrus', I suppose. They were my two favorite characters in ME1, and they bring them back in ME2 and make them romanceable. I mean, was that -always- planned, given that this was going to be a trilogy, or was it shuffled around due to overwhelming fan requests for those two.

I mean, I'm a guy, and I love Tali to bits, but I could -so- have one of those 'bro' relationships with Garrus. The guy just rocks. He'd be a great dude to go out for a drink with.
