sorry for going off topic here,but i just got accepted into the TA (thats TERRITORIAL ARMY for those who didnt know).

I've been considering signing up with my home country's equivalent once I move back there. Since I'm already a former grenadier guardsman (aka. royal guardsman) I have the training they are looking for and it should be possible to make their schedules fit in with my civilian life. Still, we'll have to see. It may not be "serious" enough for my tastes after having actually served as a full-time soldier.

Yup.  Born in Detmold to an English father and a German mother.

I love Germany so much, a great place to live.  And I believe I've already professed my love of Rammstein on many, many occasions...

A good threat can be a splendid thing. It is worth bearing in mind that if you are not able nor willing to carry out a threat then it loses its potency and you may end up looking weaker for it than if you had never made the threat to begin with.
