Did you type it in a Word doc? If so the auto-save function should be active unless you disabled it. You may not have lost all your work. If you typed it in the BioWare forum text box....well, then I don't know what can be done to salvage it unfortunately.

Sounds like quite a project. I like defaul male Shepard's visage and have not been too pleased with the custom results the few times I've tried my hand at it. Yet like you I simply don't want to push myself in to the frame of mind I'd need to be in to convincingly play a Renegade character. Sure, some Renegade choices are what I would consider smart tactically speaking (ex. the Renegade interrupt on Illium during Miranda's loyalty mission when you speak with the merc officer) but so many of them seem unnecessarily brutal and cruel (ex. pushing a merc out of the highrise or screaming at Tali and Legion in the AI core). Not my style.

I've never, not tossed that guy out the window. What happens? (By the way Tali has never mentioned anything about it when I did it, EVER):innocent:

I have to metagame justify throwing him out the window.
If you don't do that, he lives either way, he was part of the merc troupe gunning down salarians, he deserves to die.

Much in the same way if you don't renegade interrupt Elnora you can't kill her after words. I like the interrupt system but I think alot of it is too commited.

It bothers me seeing her with that knife. It's always there in every costume change, clasped against her left boot. Yet never used.

I'm all for character flavour but that knife needs to get used at some point!

In ME1 I'd assumed all quarians had them, like it was a skean dubh or something.  But I guess it's just Tali that's always got a sharp implement at hand.

Maybe she has lots of knives and ran out of places to hide them
her suit does "have more pockets then you think"
Maybe all quarians are loaded with knives hidden in their suits, like ninja.

Hm. Better hope the sharp edges and points are well insulated or a fall could prove lethal as any uncovered edges and points could potentially puncture the quarian suit.

Sure, it's off topic, but it caps off the epic Clint Eastwood argument we had on the night shift. Relate it to Tali as you will.

Well, Tali's shotgun is always loaded.
We dig ^_^

As for the westerns, I believe The Good, the Bad and the Ugly  really is the best. For a Few Dollars More and Once Upon A Time in The West would be tied for second in my opinion.

Unfortunately the playing with the original music got pulled from youtube and this is the best I could find, but the scene is still awesome :) Gotta love Lee Van Cleef.
And Tali <3

Oh, and this thread has some nice ideas in the first post. Check it out:

A nice change after all the Tali haters, eh?

And, I just need to ask, am I the only one around here who has a girlfriend and still fully loves Tali?

I don't know how it happened, but my feelings for her became unexpectedly strong to the point of going through clear biochemical/physiological reaction.

I ascribe most of it to the considerable stress I'm being put under in my studies and a little strained relationship with my girlfriend in the last months. I didn't consider it a problem at first, as I believe one can love an ideal, an archetype of personality. But even my close friends are now starting to see me as some freak.
So I put it to you: am I?  I really need to know...

Cheers and <3 Tali love,
Aardvark

For great Westerns, my top five are:

1) The Good, The Bad, and the Ugly
2) Unforgiven
3) The Man Who Shot Liberty Valance
4) High Noon
5) The Outlaw Josey Wales

And I am a man who has a girlfriend (of five years) who knows how much I dig on Tali (and I adore Tali).  In fact, she was pissed she couldn't romance Tali herself with her femShep.  She seems to have gotten over it with Thane Krios, though.

I comprehend the argument and I am aware of the potential implications of letting him walk away (what if he raises the alarm? Although that isn't a big deal shortly there after as Shepard and Co. make their presence felt and known). I'm not comfortable with that line of reasoning however. It's akin to saying that all soldiers on an opponents' side should be killed even if unarmed and/or captured irrespective of which actions they may or may not have been actively involved in. "One-size-fits-all" approaches may seem convenient but they often fail to do all those covered by it justice, IMO.

Open the Word document. Click on "File". Make sure it extends completely. The last section that shows up just before "Exit" should contain a list of the most recent documents you worked with in Word.

If you don't toss him out you can easily convince him that dying for a bit of information isn't worth it. He gives you the info you wanted (which you don't get if you push him out the window,) and he walks away without further ado.

Okay, not quite ready to let go of last night's Clint Eastwood meme:

Some ****: "You, sir, are a cowardly son of a ****, you just shot an unarmed man."
Clint: "Well, he should have armed himself, he's gonna decorate his saloon with my friend."

<3CLINT<3

*ahem* Back on topic.  I think Tali would enjoy Unforgiven.  It's a great movie.

Hahahaha! That's cold yet pragmatic. :D

My girlfriend and I used multiple photo references to make my Renegade Shep look as close to Clint as the ME engine allows.  Unfortunately, he's still level 19 on ME1 after two years.  I can't bring myself to play the bad guy, even if he looks like Clint.

I actually really like my custom Paragon Shepard.  I like to make my videogame avatars look somewhat close to me if I want to think like them, so I had to make him look Nordic.  Think Rutger Hauer in Blade Runner, and that's pretty much my Shepard.  I hate looking at default Shep, he just looks wrong to me.

As much as I enjoy that moment....two people in full exo suits...that had to be one of the clunkiest hugs ever.

They made up for that before the suicide mission.
When Tali pounced, they made the most passionate sound in the series

The fifth spot is elastic, really.  But I'd put The Searchers in there before Fistful.  In fact, toss The Searchers in there right now.  That movie is amazing.
