300 years is a short time span for the quarian species

Living conditions for many humans, in our time, are far worse then what the quarians endure, much less living conditions in the dark ages.

They shold really just colonize a planet and plan for the long haul, ally with the Alliance or Asari to settle safely in their space.

Preferably with the Alliance...

It is time to act, It is time to go home.

WE WILL NOT BE DENIED.

You're right it's time to act so STFU and listen to other options than the extinction of your entire race in unnecessary war against the Geth.
This could be solved peacefully.

I wouldn't expect a Human to understand. Perhaps if your primates rise up and banish you from Earth to eke out a miserable half-existance marooned in deep space, entire lifetimes spent trapped behind a faceplate, you might come close to comprehending our suffering.

Better to die in the attempt to make it better than hide away breathing the same "clean" air for a thousand years.

I didn't say that I don't want to get you HOMEworld back. But war is not a solution. Legion is willing to negotiate and he said that the Geth are too. I trust him... for now. If he will betray me I will kill him without remorse but until then I'm willing to negotiate with the Geth to save millions of lives.

Recruit all beginning chrs.
Do Horizon
Recruit Thane
Do N7 missions and Loyalty missions(i recommend n7 since legion has fairly unique dialogue for most mission) untill Collector ship
Do IFF
Turn on Legion
Recruit Tali
Say bye to Kelly.

I did it by...
Recruit all but Tali
Do all loyalty quests
Do all desired side quests
Recruit Tali
Do IFF
Activate Legion
Do Tali loyalty (take Legion)
Do Legion loyalty
Collector attack is activated
Launch suicide mission

All crew survive provided you pick the right teamleads.

But then you don't get Legion ont ali's recruitment mission, like is desired.

I see my bad...screw the crew then, turn them into collector chum...we didn't know them well anyway except for the Dr. and I think she survives regardless.

You can't trust the Geth.

They do not think like us, they do not process logic like us. They an unpredictable element.

That the Heretics exist at all is proof they can not be trusted.
That Legion will say "All life has the right to self determine" while voting 2 in favor of rewriting the Heretics is proof they can't be trusted.

Do I think Legion and the True Geth are hostile? No. But you can not trust them.

Legion didn't vote in favor of rewrite if you recall. The Higher Order runtimes were 573 for rewrite 571 for destruction.

Also if prompted about it Legion states that the Geth are not endorsing the decision merely stating that the posibility exists. Tali even points out if you take her along that the entire ordeal is hypocritical.

Legion just shrugs and states they are merely offering the suggestion, the decision is left to Shepard.

If the geth truly believed their statement "All life has the right to self determine" then it should never have been conflicted to come to a consensus.

True but the incident that occurs later when he tells you about his N7 armor seems to be a clue as to what might happen in the future "no data available" i.e. he made an individualistic choice and does not understand it yet.

I'll go into further detail regarding why the Geth can not be trusted.

Motivations.

All organic life is built around greed and fear. We want to live. We want to eat. We want to mate. We want a sports car.

We choose to limit ourselves due to fear of the consequences.I don't go and take lobster because I fear the consequences. I don't steal sports cars because I fear going to jail. Etc

Geth do not fear. We also can't comprehend what geth want.

They do not have the same confinments all organic beings do. We can not trust their motivations.

Insane people hit this angle. They no longer fear the consequences. They are also unpredictable about what they want. It is why they are such a potential danger.

It's not a matter of evil, or good. It's a matter of our inability to be able to comprehend them. We can not. Thus we can not trust them.

Correct. Legion states coexistance is not possible with Heretics.

Well, I think it's on me what I can or can't do. I am a human I have some type of thinking and I can trust somebody. The fact that the Geth are different and thinking different is not important to !!!WHAT I CAN DO!!!

So, I can trust them but it's not important to them because they don't know anything like trust because they have different type of thinking, of existing.

Wow... It's really hard in questions like this to say exactly what I mean. :pinched:

ONE FLEET. ONE HOME. ONE DESTINY.

Silence Terrorfex! You'll bring the doom on your entire race should you do such a brash action.
A war with the geth might just barely be won by the quarian people, but it will not be a victory. your people would've suffered too many casualties to rebuild as a race, and you would die out.

I will make it my solom duty to put the excistance of the quarian people, before humanity. Im sure up shaved apes can handle ourselves, so i'll get to work on finding some gardenworlds for the quarian people. Stake some claims, and sell them to the Migrant Fleet.

"You're going to take us for all the credits we have arnt you! What do you want, one of our life ships?! an Armada?! You bastard you know you hold all the cards so you're going to rip us off!"
You're master craftsmen, so could you make me a scarf?
"A lifeship i kn- ... What?"
A scarf, you use such fine materials for your suits, so i could use something comfortable and snuggly when i go to cold worlds.

Your words are as empty as the hollowness of your skull!

We do not want -any- world. There are a thousand worlds to choose from. There is only one HOMEworld.

Do you actually believe this would do any good to quarian people? The casualties would be staggering, and both the Migrant fleet and the geth will most likely be major aces in our fight against Reapers. Not to mention it'd get the galaxy's two nations most in need of help to pointlessly decimate one another, again!
Besides, any threat to quarians is a threat to Tali. We don't tolerate that round here

The geth need not care which world their headquarters occupy. If Shepard and Legion convince the majority of the geth, they could relocate pretty much anywhere they want to and gain the quarians trust in doing so. Such a peaceful resolution would do a great deal of good to the galaxy, and my Shepard is definitely going to try and achieve it if I can help it.
If I can not, I'll at least try to delay the war until after the reapers come. By then, who knows if there'll even be anyone to fight it...

Scalpels wrote...

Due to slow posting. Reposting Quarian speculation. Updated.

Morphology:

Hair: Unknown. If exists, then short. (Long hair inconvenient in helmet)
Skin: Unknown. Presumed to be smooth from view of nose. Due to no exposure to elements. Likely hyper sensitive. Soft. Supple. Two theories regarding color.
Pale Quarian Theory: Either shade of blue/purple or various pale shades. Based on observation of blue/purple nose shade. Tinting from visor affecting visible skin color.
Dark Quarian Theory: Star of Rannoch older than Sol. May provide greater solar output. Solar output requires darker pigmentation.
Nose: Human in shape. Unknown number of nostrils.
Eyes: Accutely angled. Tear ducts present. Glowing. Two possible theories.
Bioluminescence: Would provide glow. May make vision difficult/impossible.
Reflectivity: Specifically reflecting HUD via eyeshine. Would not impeed vision. May not provide bright enough glow.
Ears: Unknown. Current theory is "ear holes" similar to asari.
Mouth: Lips present. Most likely similar to human.
Teeth: Omnivorous. Likely similar to human.
Hands: Three digits. Two fingers. One thumb.
Feet: Three digits. Two large toes. One vestigal toe.
Genitalia: Similar to human morphology. Secondary sex traits follow human morphology.
Legs: Recurved shin. Not full digigrade.

Suit:

Mobile sterile environment. Designed to handle all biological needs. Feeder tube in helmet delivers water/sterilzed food paste. Undergarments unlikely as would impeed waste excretion. Assume suit also handles grooming. Suit designed for use at all times due to limited clean room space. Suit has section seals similar to starship bulkheads. Suit also has antibiotic delivery system for pilgrims/soldiers.

Lifespan:

Unnoted in game. Presumably matches humans at 100-150 years.

Sleep Cycle:

Unnoted in game. Presumably matches humans at 8-10hrs.

Misc:

Paste packet likely similar to saline bag. Pre-purified. Connects to external portion of feeder tube. Likely redundant sterilization before reaching mouth.

Quarians can survive in clean room. Births occur in clean rooms. Children placed in "bubbles" after birth. Asari on Illium mention Quarian indentured servant requires clean room. Expensive.

Bathing possible with sterilized water in clean room. This type of cleaning likely rare. Clean rooms are luxury for personal matters. Entire room for one Quarian seen as extravagant.

A brilliant synopsis, doctor B)

Though I tend to lean slightly more to the pale quarian theory due to the glimpses of the color of their noses, the dark theory has its merits as well since the time spent on the Migrant fleet wouldn't have been long enough for the former color to change so much. If they started out dark, they'd most likely stay that way, though a little less so due to little to no actual stimulation to synthesize more pigment.
As for the ears, from the expression "...what passed for the quarian version of ear..." (Ascension, p. 235) I get the impression that there actually is at least some sort of structure instead of a simple hole.

Anyway, good work everyone.
