The only real visual difference is in the legs. That can be faked if the person stands knot kneed and if the Shin guards are built right. The rest of their body is pretty much human. The fingers and toes are not a problem either. Gloves that hold two fingers and we have always had tabi boots. I know Scalpels will pull it off and I know when we get ready for it everything will be as close to the game as possible. I have seen too much great cosplay to think anything can not be done. Heck we even have Gundams and Transformers that transform now. Guyvers with chest buster cannons you name it people can make it. Our to put it in better terms. If they can build it in 3D it can be rebuilt in real life. Heck I have even seen people dressed as Aliens and actually move around like them.
Hm. Ok. Here's a challenge: Make a convincing Hanar costume that doesn't involve sticks, people standing or sitting on each other with the "lower section" human being covered up by cloth, include moveable tentacles and have it glide/levitate in the air. I suspect a mechanical contraption that is remote controlled would be the current most straight forward way to achieve it. Scale might be a problem though.

I'm absolutely stunned. I just HAD to read through all 10 chapters, fantastic work Blackout ! I could see it all happening in front of me, you described the quarians and their culture remarkably well, and you had included lots of beautiful and emotionfilled sentences and words to strenghten the feeling of "being there", and to keep the reader interested from the first word of a chapter to the last one.
I can't believe how many talented writers we have on this thread. I'm out of words.

Step 4: Dress Stanley Woo up in a Shepard outfit and make him dance as we demolish the building
Step 5: KFD hacks into the programming and alters ME3 so that Tali is now a squaddie and LI again
Step 6: Go home, eat cheetos, and enjoy another good game
