Just finished ME1 again. God, what an awesome game!
Im playin that now trying to make my me2 experience completely different than the first time i played
is it me or is me1 alot longer than me2?
oh and i have a question has anyone saved the councel at the end of te game?
cause im concidering saving them and i wanna kno if they are actually greatful for helping them ?
do they finally give you the credit you deserve? cause if not im gonna let em burn : /
and if you do save em do you still get to put a human in power on the councel?
Feels longer, but it's actually 18 hours shorter(took me 44 hours to get through ME2 and 26 for ME1).
ya i thought it seemed longer
but does anyone have any input on saving the councel??
Saving the council is probably the better move. They are still idiots in the second game but things
might be politically better. If you save them, humanity is seen a little better, and the turian hiearchy
decides to make ammends for the First Contact War. If you don't save them, you have a few race
riots and the asari grant the turians more defense obligations, a veiled attempt at allowing the turians
a better chance seeing as they might actually fight the humans. On the other hand, humanity does stand
to rise in political and military power if you don't save the council, depends on how you want your losses.
grrrr what a tough descision....
do you still get to put udina or the anderson in a seat of power??
im going with anderson
Yeah, It'll ask you although it doesn't matter, you pick who it is in ME2 anyway. As for the council,
if they live you get to talk to the idiots again, if they don't the new council won't see you.

But in another game My male Shepard did romance someone (sorry, can't remember if it was Ashley or Liara)
And when the sex scene arrived, I went outside my room and wait until they were done because I found it disgusting even if it's just a game (that part of my personality).
Oh and I did the Alenko romance too with my female shepard and I did the same thing.

Awww, you're so innocent
It might be a slight cue for you to stop toying with her, you know
Oh, and Tiberius, what you're suggesting for Tali and Shepard in your thread wouldn't be even remotely possible even if they did share AA chirality. For a number of reasons greater than I care to think of this late.
I can see why you'd want it, though
Better if they simply adopt an amiable little quarian baby and build her a home in Walled Garden

ALSO: No muzzle brake yet. Barrel was not threaded due to it being a Saiga 5.45x39mm sporter rifle. I converted it my self and now I'm debating weahter or not to give the muzzle an m16/AR-15 thread or plain AK 14x1mm thread.

Yeah. My AK is just standard. Nothing special on it. I am very surprised with it's proficiency too. I mean, I can shoot a 300 meter target the size ofa human using only the Iron sites. Hell. Thats fantastic for an AK...but this is a little off topic...

From the look sof the weapon itself, it looks like it shoots 7.62 rounds, and has the same main body as an AK. It the real deal. It just has modified pieces and parts. I have stuff for my AK that allows me to make it look like a MAK90.

Wow, that is no offend but could you explain me what fascinates you about weapons?
I mean, the technical details and all of that are impressive, but I could never hold a gun in my own hands, just did it ones and it felt all ackward and wrong. Maybe I'm not the kind of guy that can deal with that "responsability" or however you want to call it, but I really cannot understand that passion - but I'm willing to learn.
And yes, I refused to join the army in austria and worked as a paramedic instead.
So, now lay it on me, and again - no offend
No offence taken on my part, Smoothie. I used to feel the same way you just described above. Then I joined the Army, was issued an assault rifle, was taught about its different components, how to take it apart, clean and care for each bit, reassemble it, specs and range of the weapon, how to safely load and unload ammunition, safety features and finally how to use it effectively as a weapon. With a bit of time I ended up growing fond of my assigned rifle. I named it after a girlfriend at the time so I bonded with it faster and when holding it on dark, cold, wet nights it would help conjure up thoughts and feelings of my love at the time making the connection even stronger.
It may sound strange to someone who hasn't tried it, but it's ingrained in to you as combat infantry that you never leave your weapon more than three feet away from you, or unless your "buddy" is keeping watch over it while you are away. In the field your life may well end up depending on having quick access to the weapon and it will need to be in working order at all times. In a sense it becomes a bit of an extension of yourself.
A post that really makes some things clear - but still I would not and could not do it. Pacifist and I had the chance to join the army as spoken, but refused. But to appease you, the second part does not sound strange, I can imagine that scenario. It's kinda the same feeling when working as a paramedic, your best friend in a lot of situations is the equipment you have, you watch over it, learn all the details and control every part just to make sure everything is working in the case you'll need it. Thanks for that, lightened up some dark shades
My pleasure, Smoothie. I'm pleased I was able to shed some light on the matter for you. Just to be clear, I've never felt so pacifistic as I did during my time in the military. Having the legal authority to use lethal force while on duty protecting the royal family and being issued live ammunition with a weapon/tool designed to hurt and/or kill, being taught how to use it effectively and being aware of the consequences when applied effectively against other living beings was a sobering reality, for me at least. Others may react differently. I didn't choose to move back to my home country so that I could volunteer for the conscription process and join the military just to "go shoot people". I did it because I wanted to challenge myself physically and mentally (I didn't find military service difficult but I was also older and more mature than many of my comrades at the time), and I wanted to learn how better to fight and defend myself and the things and people I care about. I got everything out of my military service that I sought going in.
I do not look down upon those people whom do not wish to serve in the military. It takes all sorts to make a world and there are different ways to serve one's country, community and/or humanity at large. Being a paramedic is, IMO, another worthy and noble way to do so.
