Depends on how many strings need to be plucked and at what tempo. She may not have enough digits to keep up with the notes in a given composition.

Being born and raised in San Antonio I'm pre disposed to the fiddle.

But I wouldn't want to see Tali in a cowboy hat.

Aye, but perhaps she could learn to play instruments designed for six digits instead of ten. While it would make it all but impossible to create similarly complex musical pieces as those designed for hands with more digits, that's not to say that Tali and other Quarians couldn't create beautiful sounding music nonetheless.

Failing that, there's always a wide assortment of drums.

In fact, I believe Erinya from Baria Frontiers on Illium mentioned her bondmate studied and loved quarian music just before the geth uprising. So their music must be pretty good
