Agreed. As mentioned in a previous post I would vote against such a proposition. I'd support helping the Quarians find a new world to colonize within Council space in an area that has not yet been developed.

Then again, just open up free trading. It would add to earths golden age.

I wouldn't want any alien species having a home world that close to our home world. Not if there is any other way and there certainly is given the many, many other planets around. Consider this: Where are the Quarians going to expand to once they have settled in nicely on Mars (presuming that's even possible for them)? Do they peacefully settle other planets away from  Alliance space or do they get in our way? Do we get in their way? Do conflicts erupt? And on and on it goes. No, I think a more equitable solution for both parties would be to help the Quarians establish themselves in a system or systems that they can then call their own, choose their own path (as the Geth advocate incidentally) and hopefully once more rejoin actively as productive and beneficial members in galactic society. "Good fences make for good neighbours", etc.

Yes, IIRC it is mentioned in one Codex entry that the Heretics moved beyond the Perseus Veil and likely have their main bases of operations on the outer inner edges of the Perseus Veil, and thus are likely the first "Geth" any organic species' ships would have encountered.

This is what caused the split between the Geth and the Heretics. The Geth didn't want another species to show them a way to their future; they want to do that for themselves.

They weren't infected with a virus I thought, thought it was a fault in their programming... The virus was what they were building to use against the true geth to change their runtimes to that of the heretics...

Not yet they haven't. The Council races may be allied but allies do not always get along and they most certainly do not always share the same points of view as to what to do, when to do it, where to do it nor how to do it. Then there's the politicking and each group trying to make sure they aren't losing out while the others gain something, etc. I find your naivety touching - and I mean no disrespect by that comment - yet sadly such solidarity is rare even when a common foe is incoming.

True they are behaving much they same way the League of Nations did just before WWII.

Heck, the Allies themselves behaved that way during WWII!

I thought that they asked sovereign to give them a future. I was not aware this was caused by a virus. I also thought Legion explains the schism as basically a difference in mathematical perception.

I think quarians should get new respect for something in the 3rd game I am tiered of people always looking down on the quarians maybe start a war with geth or maybe if in your game legion lived let them start a peace treaty
