What if Citadel jump isn't their only option, just a prefered one? As we have seen in few cut scenes, normandy didn't need a relay to achieve a superluminous speed. Perhaps because they aren't using the citadel Harbinger and co. will arive here weakened..

Harbinger demonstrates the ability to control the collectors in real time across a vast distance (they could be as far as 100k ly away), i would dare to guess no developed species can do that. Surely their propulsion technology would be more advanced than what all others have too.

I expect a deus ex machina too, but I'm sure it will make some sense

We do know how far away they are. THe final scene shows them on the outside looking in at the Milky Way galaxy. The same galaxy that to cross from 1 end to the other takes 100 thousand light years and they are looking at it as if it's a singular object, they are so far from it.

This distance, combined with the events of Mass Effect 1, in regards to the need to open the Citadel's Relay is all the proof needed to say the repears are quite stuck out in the middle of nowhere without it.

Not exactly. We have an approximation of how far out the Reaper fleet is but we do not actually have any specific distance data. Nor do we know at what velocity the Reaper fleet is travelling. It could take them weeks, months or years before they arrive. Personally I'm inclined to go with the idea that it will take months if not less since such a timeline would work quite nicely with the way ME2 ended. All shall be revealed in due time however and perhaps years will pass giving the sapient species time to bolster their fleets and get their houses in order (Geth and Quarian peace settlement anyone?).

LOL if they cant get here without the Citadel then once again importing shep from me2 to me3 is pointless. your own argument is still faulty in the belief that Reapers are inferior in their means of travel. Remember THEY BUILT THE CITADEL AND THE RELAYS SPECIFICALLY TO GUIDE OUR OWN DEVELOPMENT. If they built the technology you can bet they can use it in ways you haven't even begun to think of.

Go back and check the posts for the quotes you will see that it was suggested by Archonsg that ME3 would begin 2-3 years after the end of ME2. Which puts the entire timeline of the game from ME1 to ME3 occuring within what? 6-7 years? Get your own facts straight.

I suggested that it was stupid for them to wait that long when the Reapers are a highly advanced race of machines that built the freaking Citadel and the relays as well as plotted the entire course for all organic civilizations to develop. They are obviously tactically smart enough to be able to get here when they damn well please.

You are suggesting they are hundreds of thousands of years away at the end of ME2 and cant get here which is just stupid cause then ME3 cant have shepard

The only reason I wouldn't is if I was unable too because in fact there is a large partition of bullet proof glass between me and the target and the only way to get to the other side is for some one already there to let me in. (Sovereign and the Citadel)

Again your missing a key point. Nazara tries to fire the gun ie. the Citadel. Gun misfires. Never happened in countless cycles. They dont know why. More analysis needed. machines dont think like us so 2000 years go by as they analyze what the hell went wrong because for all they know the Organics developed a way to affect the Reapers that has never occured before.

Analysis completes, no threat visible they fly in like a bull in a china closet... and fail. More research.. build a new reaper remotely while the fleet moves into positon. New reaper discovered and destroyed prematurely. Time to be vicious and just obliterate the china plate with the sledge hammer now. In comes the fleet

That make any sense?

 Well everyone, I finished by imagined ME 3 ending, featuring a Talimance for all you fans out there.

Just so you know, I have not written creatively in many, many years.  I wanted to challenge myself, and thought where better to start than a fleshed out Universe like that of Mass Effect.

I spent a lot of time on this, so I will really look forward to your comments and suggestions.  Please temper your criticism with the thought that I never claimed to be a GREAT writer .

If you enjoy it, feel free to pass it around, with credit given of course.   I am sorry I could not upload it to FanFiction yet, as my account is so new they won't allow me to.  I will when I am able.  If there are grammatical or spelling errors, as I am sure there are, please know I will go over the story again with a fine tooth comb.

As I said, enjoy.  It is long, about 20 pages or so.  I know many will not have the patience to finish it, but if you do, please feel free to let me know what you think!  I really hope you all like it...

Not necessarily so.  In fact I find that idea a bit far-fetched.
As I described in more detail above, there are a number of reasons why they'd want to use the Citadel relay, even if it were not absolutely necessary.  But if they can't use it, do you think that they don't have FTL drives or something?

If I was a troll then I would had been slinging insults the entire time.
I did not, which means I am not a troll, which indicates since you called me stupid, you resorted to pettiness first since you were incapable of restraining your emotions. Also by calling me a troll, when I was not, you make yourself look trite.

As for the flaws in my logic, why does me saying the repears are stuck in Darkspace have anything to do with ME3 taking place after SHepard is dead. They're are plenty of options to be created for how the repears can manipulate things without physically arriving in the galaxy. The fact you thought I thought that is comical.

did the math. At 12LY a day increased by 50% it would take almost 15.55 repeating years for the reapers to travel 100,000 LY which was the suggested distance that they are away at the end of ME2

Why show them on the edge of the galaxy at the end of ME2 at all if they are just going to resort to another petty trick to use the citadel or some other tech to get there faster? Especially since such a ploy could simply be thwarted in ME3. As ME3 is the final installment we know the fleet is going to be dealt with somehow.

As for your comment about slinging insults your resorting to a complicated way to use the childish proverb "Im rubber your glue whatever you say bounces off me and sticks to you" is truly insulting. Perhaps you should consider actually using logic to support your theories and make your points instead of acting like a troll and simply poking holes in other peoples theories to create discord.

Because that is what trolls do. They say things to intentionally create arguments and that has been your entire purpose in this thread since your first post.
