okies... going a little "off topic" but still focusing on Tali.

Quarians and Mecha. No?
I mean I can see the tag line now, "For days when you need a bigger gun that only a Quarian can give" Picture of Tali working on a N7 mecha with shepard inside.

Why did me mind go to appleseed just now? And why no mechs in ME? They would pose an advantage over car/tanks/trucks

Ymir's seem a step in that direction, but with Vi being what they are putting someone in the cockpit forces resources spent on neural interface, pilot room and redundant life support systems.

While a robot only needs a harddrive, more room for armor, weapons. Cheaper too.

Well, not mechas such as Gundams (gags!) and such but powered armor such as those from Robert Heinlein's book, Starship Troopers. Heavy weapons = tac nuke shoulder rack mount and small arms = Vulcan hammerhead cannon. :P

First saying Good Bad and the Ugly is better then For a Few Dollars More. Now saying ME2 is better then BG2?

bah!

BG 2 was my favorite game back then, ME 2 is my favorite nowadays.
Still love BG 2 just as much as I love ME 2, both absolutely fantastic games by Bioware

Wish more people would give BG a shot tho, it's a real classic and a game everyone should play even once in a lifetime

I have done BG 2 a few  times. And i could still do it many more times.=]

me too, but I can´t scan another planet. I always skip that. I would rather make all the mako- missions again ( and I didn´t like the mko much either) , than scan another planet

I do the scanning in bulk, it only takes 15ish mins of hard scanning to have enough resources for most upgrades.

In game mechanics shouldn't be used to describe how the physics really work.

Yeah, if you scan only rich planets you don't need to do so much scanning.  I mostly ignore any non rich planet, unless there is an anormly on the planet.

I had alright heard about it through a Zero Punctuation Reveiw. Didn't sound like a good game after that.

Okies, I don't get you there. How so? I meant that given the limitation of the VI, it could not or was not able to form a battle plan against an opponent who on paper should not have stood a chance but used his organic brain to take down a much tougher opponent by timing his shots, taking cover and moving to keep cover between himself (or herself) and the mech. Had the mecha had better programing for example, it could have used its rockets shot at the opposing side while moving towards the other, thus damaging its human opponent with splash damage. But since its targeting system tells it to shoot at point x where x is the target, it doesn't do that.
Or did you mean something else?

Yeah BG is veeeerrrryyyy old and real Hardcore RPG (even DA:O is for Noobs compared to BG) and it eats away your time, but it is THE pioneer for game narration and has still one of the best stories evar.

P.S: This game is not a hardcore RPG, it is a hardcore hardcore RPG for gamers, who call other harcore gamers noobs :)

Yahtzee is like a "grouch" reviewer. People like it when he trashes a game and thus he gives what his fans want. Seriously though, I have long learnt that the only review meant a damn is your own.
While others might give you a hint of what to expect, play the game for yourself to see what if its you cup of tea.
Still, you can't talk about RPGs without someone bringing up Baldur's gate, Boo, Minsc or in game Romances without bringing up Viconia, Aerie and Jaheira , which were your BG LIs. That it is so, speaks volumes about the game.

Just finished editing some lyrics, or a poem if you'd like to call it that.
It's about loss and death, so I'd say it suits ME 2 pretty well

Have a look if you'd mind, sorry if my promoting got on your nerves

Oh ya. Good ol days of getting one shot killed by a fracking 6hp Kobold (when you were lvl 1-2). Or have your love interest permernently removed from game by a "disintergrate" spell. Fun times....in a sadistic sort of way.

Wouldn't it be better if the topictitel was a bit different, like "Tali as a squadmate and a continued romance in ME3"? I mean, what we want is a continued romance with Tali and that she's a squadmember from the beginning in ME3.

If Tali is alive at the end of ME2, she will be alive in ME3 - but that could also be a cameo. And that's not what we're going for. It's not like the devs/moderators are gonna read every page, so we need a good topictitel that immediately shows what we really want.

But maybe I'm wrong and no one agree with me. If that's the case, act like this post never happened.

Hah, now I know when the Hammerhead will come!

Download the Firewalker pack and gain access to 5 new missions featuring
the Hammerhead. The Hammerhead is a heavy assault vehicle that hovers
over the battlefield at up to 120 kilometers per hour and features a
guided missile system ensuring accuracy even during aggressive
maneuvering. Coming late March, free to all Cerberus Network members!

source: masseffect.bioware.com/info/cerberus/

and even 5 new missions. I guess these will all be Hammerhead missions, I just hope they are each longer then 5-10 min...

That's why we are here.
We want Tali as LI, as Squadmate and not given a cameo role.

We would like a happy ending where no one has to die to save the other, you know, save Tali or save the universe, but if you save Tali she hates you and leaves you anyway rubbish. Wedding would be nice, too. By all means put in the "moronic regegade" ending where you destroy the very thing you want to save, but put in the good everyone leaves happy ending too. Hell, make it that we'd have to play another 20 hours *just* to get that ending , I don't care. I know I will do so.

Yep, the only two games I know Yahtzee reviewed positively was Portal, and; Call of Juaraz: Bound in Blood.

actually it's just a piece of writing, maybe better suited for a poem in this case
I'm also a musician, a guitarist and a singer, so I use to write lyrics on my freetime
