Well, not mechas such as Gundams (gags!) and such but powered armor such as those from Robert Heinlein's book, Starship Troopers. Heavy weapons = tac nuke shoulder rack mount and small arms = Vulcan hammerhead cannon.

Wow. First time I bring up this topic and I catch a sh*t storm of bad comments. Looks like either people are lightening up to the idea or you are the people I should have brought the idea up to.
Good Starship Troopers referance. I was thinking maybe something like the mechs in the last Matrix movie... with a little more armor though.
The Quarian Mariens suck. Put them in a bad ass mech and let them go to town.

If however you think of full mobile combat platforms I am more keen on Battletech mechs. The Marauder or the Rhino (Behomoth) style mechs look like something the Quarians could have designed.

Speaking of weapon designs, I would think a Quarian + Krogan joint effort would come up with one of the meanest thing out there in terms of "personal" arms. I was thinking of something that would have the quarian's ability to engineer an ergonocial support frame + krogan's penchant for putting in the biggest bang in the smallest space possible and you'll have a heavy assualt weapon. I was thinking of something like a mini vulcan gun of sorts.

It's been ages since I've played a MechWarrior game. I never did the table top thing. They could also make funcional suits for building and mining, ect.
Quarian and Krogan mech combo.... and the Reapers run in horror from the thought. That would be the deadliest combo in the galaxy.

We would like a happy ending where no one has to die to save the other, you know, save Tali or save the universe, but if you save Tali she hates you and leaves you anyway rubbish. Wedding would be nice, too. By all means put in the "moronic regegade" ending where you destroy the very thing you want to save, but put in the good everyone leaves happy ending too. Hell, make it that we'd have to play another 20 hours *just* to get that ending , I don't care. I know I will do so.

i had a dream with Tali in it last night. Liara was there too, but she just kept falling asleep. and i saw tali's face a couple times, but it was different every time.

it was a very cool dream though. Team Rocket was trying to keep Tali and me apart, but they didnt do a very good job. good times.

I have ALWAYS hybrid dreams, at the beginning of the night I dream plot #1 in the middle of the night plot #2 and at the end both of them mix together and become pointless and confusing... and when they plot finally makes sense again... I wake up.

The only thing, you can do wrong is not talk enough with the NPCs or tell them, that you aren't interested, every other way leads to a romance.

I concur. I've never really been satisfied with the title our Tali threads have borne. Reminds me of online spelling from 12 year olds. Just saying.

Ya that was what I suggested when Revankun asked about what we thought about Tali's / Shepard's marriage.
To repeat, personally i thought that it won't be just a "quarian" or 'human" affair, if anything because of what they have done, it'll be a full blown galactic event. On Rannoch. At an old but grand outdoor Quarian temple, with asari bridesmaids, human and quarian honor guards in full military dress giving the couple a full 100 (or 1000) "Arc of Steel" sabre salute. The Quarians will regain status back into council space and all rights regained for their actions in the Reaper war.

I wouldn't have it any other way... Quarians need to get the respect they're due!

Man, Tali's my fave character, but she's seriously not a good leader. Don't get me wrong, she's smart, has a great head on her shoulders, and can make good logical decisions. But that's only half of the leadership equation. She tends to let her emotions get the better of her, and she's prone to getting frustrated too easily. She just has difficulty keeping a crew together under non ideal circumstances. 

I actually think with some experience she would make a great team leader. She's smart, cares greatly for her subjects and would go out of her way to always find the edge in any situation.
However, she'll need some field training observing Shepard very closely to gain this experience  
I agree with the rest of you guys that Garrus is the clear SPECTRE material round here.
Umm, could a non-citadel race member even be a SPECTRE? If so, it would help the quarians PR immensely.

Heh, that's very cute.  Amazing work with the pic.  You know, I'm not sure I can really take to the idea of Tali and Shepard having a traditional human wedding.  It has some charm to it, but I just keep seeing them leaving everything behind to be alone together.  No ceremony, no people, no distractions, just them.  But that being said, the author did a great job here with the image.
