In my defense, I've tried keeping this thread on-topic as long as I could. Though it seems my voice of reason is always ignored.
I pay attention to it, as long as it's the voice of reason and not whining

It could be a bug but I think Bioware snuck in some extra hidden factors. If you've explored their entire dialogue tree before the confrontation this seems to lower the requirement. Also having the opposite score may drag down your ability to influence people. You could try respecing to the class that gives the larger charm/intimidate bonus before the fight as well.
500 renegade isn't as impressive when you have 200 paragon on the side. Somebody pulled off the Miranda/Jack fight with only half of the total renegade bar filled.

As long as they keep staring at all the Tali banners in our sigs, it doesn't matter if we go off-topic sometimes. This is essentially a thread where Tali lovers can hang out without getting trolled.HK01 wrote...
Wow, this is even more off-topic than it was this morning! Now it's not even remotely about ME, let alone Tali, anymore...
Tali is just awesome that way.

Indeed. But most of what General Wedge says is fairly reasonable.Jake71887 wrote...

You don't have a Tali banner in your sig, though.

As I said above, it feels awkward when serious issues dealing with emotions like depression are discussed here. At least it feels weird to me.
Hey, I like Jack. Not enough to actually go through with it, but she's a good character.antilles333 wrote...
I don't know what this nonsense is about picking other characters as your LI's. Jack is someone who is just plain crazy, and someone who needs to get over her whole sob story.
Miranda is too cocky, and believes that she should be considered a REAL human even though she was engineered. Samara is cool as far as her morality goes and all that, but was a rather uninteresting character to me.
In other news. I got the Widow last night....and I can't destroy the collector base.

I think you have to put [.img]Link[/img] without the . in [.img].
March on, Drathan. High school is definitely the worse part. The important part is to just get past that, and then you'll find that there a lot of wonderful things to compensate for the bad ones.The_KFD_Case wrote...

I didn't have any pride back then.
Everyone's depressed in High School, did you take medicine for it, go to therapy regularly?
But for the sake of lulz I soldier on.
Hang in there. It can get better (and often does even though there will be hard bumps along the way).

Yeah, but starting to talk about depression! It just feels awkward to hang around this thread right now.

Well...sometimes a talk just...flows in a direction no one foresaw and then you end up talking ab about depressions in a Tali thread.

Nevermind, then, the Persona games are PS2. They're interesting: modern setting, a departure from the usual fantasy RPG, and they have a heavy emphasis on the relationships between the characters.

You know, just enough to show she's a woman, but not enough that they get in the way of working on things parts and technical. <3Terrorfex wrote...

Miranda kind of gives me the willies. I mean, she's made out of 100% man parts.

Aye, I looked them up as soon as I read your earlier post which is why I mentioned the Xbox 360. No harm, no foul and the attempt at broadening my JRPG horizons is appreciated.

I didn't read through all of that JRPG stuff, so I've no idea if it has already been mentioned - The only JRPG I played was Lost Odyssey, and I greatly enjoyed it. Those people who shed tears during ME2, will cry like babies at some points in that game though.
And now I'll go to Haestrom to get my Tali, finally.
Oh, and my Geth Assault Rifle, too.
I just *love* Haestrom!
