Bioware gave us Tali and unfortunately, the harsh truth is Bioware can take Tali away.

I encourage you to pay tribute to the glory of Tali via any creative medium, making use of the fact your IMAGINARIUM remains property of you, and Bioware have no authority over your BRAINS.

Yet.

They'll have to steal that device from Blizzard.

But doesn't BioWare now have the Harbi- ASSUMING DIRECT CONTROL

I didn't really look at it that way with Morrigan.  I thought, man, this chick has some serious issues and I would like to be one of them.  It was probably not healthy, even I if I was able to convince Wynne that we were good for each other.  Guess Wynne gets the last laugh anyway.

Right on about Tali, though.  Totally different type of romance.  It's nice to be pursued once in a while.

Leliana is far more interesting and fleshed out as a romance option then Morrigan.

Plus she's not a terrible person.

What? How so? Morrigan really had charm, Leliana was....I don't know what to call it. Too girly?     (Shoes, anyone?)

Okay, you got me.  Wow, I was laughing hard.

Wait, you're serious?  Leliana is pretty darn vanilla compared to how monumentally damaged Morrigan is.  The woman is freaking minefield, except it's screeching lunacy rather than shrapnel that blows your leg off when you make a wrong move.  Breaking her down was a real challenge and was thus quite satisfying.

Leliana kind of bored me.  She is very sweet and kind, though.

But Morrigan is also an a§$&%§%.=]

Everyone hides behind their walls, I'd be lying if I said I was any different ^_^

Agreed, the difference is only in the thickness of those walls :D

Not to mention Leliana is just about as eager to love you, as Morrigan is to get you in her tent... There's not working for it, so boring <_<

Oh man, Morrigan's "I love you and I hate it!" conversation had me slack-jawed at the barking madness on display.  She was a great character.  And a tiger in the sack, I assume (make your own shapeshifter joke here).

Strange thing is, I have no desire to play DAO again, but I'm gearing up for another playthrough of ME2 this weekend.

Woah... I wouldn't say she had charm.. In fact she was usually very blunt and crude

Bring Tali back for ME3, keep her on the crew, and continue the love intestest in her.

Yeah, see, that's what they SHOULD do. They're going to bring back the old love interests from the first game, since they said that whether you're faithful to Liara/Ash/Kaidan will affect your relationship with them in ME 3, so why the hell wouldn't they keep the ones from ME 2 around? It seems only fair that we Talimancers get to keep our share of lovin'...
Awesome pic btw, Destructo. Ty for post.

Morrigan isn't damaged. She's actually remarkably sheltered. Just in the opposite way we picture it. And breaking her down isn't a challenge. Admire strength, passion for 3/4's of your conversation options. Then bank hard on love(and it's really obvious at that point due to the options given) to finish up.

For your troubles...she still runs off to have a wild baby somewhere.

Yeah...satisifying alright.

Leliana had a much more colorful and invovled life. Was betray'd by the person she loved and trusted the most. Was tortured and raped as a result and the only peace she found was making her own decisions about spirituality, even if they conflicted with the norm.

She is actually the more interestingly written character of the two. She just seems homogenized due to the religion stigma.

Add on bugs me.

It's not a stand alone story or a continuation. It's a side story...but it cuts out all the characters.

Except Ohgren.

Ohgren is funny, but I wasn't really that interested in him.

Well, for me, all the tattoos are a bit much, but other than that I concur.

Sheltered in that her "mother" let her run wild, and was just raising her to use as a replacement body.  Anyone who grows up without trust for their parents (or whatever caretaker) is going to be pretty warped by the end.  That was the thing that I was constantly struck by.  And besides, sheltering causes a damage all its own.

I should note that while yes, you can purposefully pick all  the options you know she'll like, the conversations run in a startlingly different direction if you don't.  And you can still get to where you want to go.

Hey, I did say I wanted her to turn my life into flaming wreckage.

Leliana, meh.  I'm not sure what you're saying about her religion.  I didn't mind it.  I didn't mind Ashley's religion, I agreed with her.

I have concerns that they'll make an ME 2 addon like awakening. I want to see more of the characters we already know, not new ones. I want something that fleshes out the backstories and personalities of the crew, in particular Tali.<3

Most people dont change, and there past defines them. Least thats how I see it in both ME and real life.

I agree that it's very unlikely for people to change, but I also concede that I may not be seeing all of the person, as is the case with Jack. Sometimes you have to break down walls to see the person behind the facade, and then you'll find that they didn't need to change at all, you just had to see them in a different light.

Truer words are rarely spoken, or typed for that matter.

That said, the person in question has to be willing to work with you, otherwise it amounts to ramming your head against a wall.
