The fact that there are 36+ million US citizens without adequate healthcare flies in the face of that statement. Also, many public hospitals' emergency units are flooded with victims that don't actually qualify for emergency care but because that's the one area where everyone has to be accepted they are funneled there. It's not efficient and puts a huge strain on those departments of the public health system. Frankly it's disgraceful that it's taken this long for a world leading country like the US to even begin to seriously try to catch up. 

That's my opinion, too, but please drop the topic. It'll just lead to a huge mess. It's already starting.

If your boss allows you to browse videogame forums at work, it should be possible to explain to him that "some random guy" posted whatever picture said boss saw on your screen and didn't like.

As long as it isn't hardcore porn or something, I don't think that a picture of a videogame character could make things worse.

If you aren't allowed to visit forums at work, the picture shouldn't make much of a difference either.

After the Republicans ruined the USA, there is not much left he could screw and his healthcare program is so overdue it just makes me sad that there are actual people against it. 

I may not be American but I can say: as long as millions of Americans have to be treated by wandering doctors in tents like in third world countries, you cannot call yourself the "leader of the western world". Just my two cents...

btw: the healthcare system Obama wants to start is very similar to our German one, and we are fine with it. Infact the German liberal party wants to abolish it and install the American "system" (is it even a healthcare system?) all they gain is nothing more than hatred and they are called the party of the "rich".
