I think your translation was incorrect, he wasn't encouraging anyone to fight. He was telling the other guy to drop the subject to *prevent* further fighting.

I think we have to set a new goal for us. 

The goal shouldn't be to only get Tali as a team member in ME 3 but to be able to marry in the end!

It looks like a spacefaring nightelf to me...wouldn't be a pleasant surprise to me to see this. I imagine her to look more... I don't know. Just not like that. No offense to the artist. It's very well drawn.
