Can't you see? This is what they want! they WANT Talimancers to divide because guess who comes to power when the Talimancers divide? Other groups! The Tali in ME3 cause would die and it would be the fault of a childish civil war. Are power is in the "We" not the "I". We can definately work this out if we all just relaxed about this. True, there is a sort of crudeness in some posts, but being a puritan cult wouldn't help our position. So, we just need to live with the fact that there is varying levels of opinions and views of Tali. If she were here (and.. ya know.. real) She would not approve (as far as I know)
Again, I agree, however the core issue seems to be that there are those who feel offended by some of the behaviour of others and will not be satisfied unless it stops completely. Those invididuals whom are just enjoying themselves, having a bit of fun and generally not trying to be a bother to others are disinclined to stop acting that way because some others are upset about it. I fall in the second group. I comprehend why the former group is upset and I do not wish to see them upset but I also think some of them feel entitled to somehow control these Tali threads because they have been involved in them. They aren't the only ones that have been involved in them and they don't have the final say nor should they.
That leaves us at an impasse because the difference between them pertains to a core value for each side that neither is willing to give up. I'm not asking the other group to give up what they want; I'm content to let them do what they want and I will do what I want. Problem is that what I want to do is something they take offense too and thust hey can not tolerate its existence even though I can tolerate theirs. I'm not prepared to give up a core value just to appease others that want their core value respected. It's a two way street.
"When all other options are exhausted - when another man will not let you take your son to school without offering a wicked tongue; when another nation will not let your people live free and clear in the rain and the sun; when there cannot be negotiation with those that will not hear a kind word amongst their hatred; there remains only the option of force.
When one has no other choice to make, one must make war."
Isn't that a pretty cool quote?
I certainly think so, and I am in complete agreement with it. Whom does it originate from?
Terrorfex! I totally made it up as I was typing the reply. I AM SO AWESOME!
Alright, I’ll try to match, it my not be as original but I think it will come close.

I think that damn near perfectly sums up the plight of the Quarians.
