Her response to the "No, the mission is too important" reply is pretty brutal, I hear.

How do you even trigger that one? I've talked to her in afew playthroughs at that stage and all I've ever seen in the the wheel was the top two.

Well, I'm back. And the thread has, once again, taken a turn for the worse. Sometimes I really miss some of the good ol' regulars. Whatever happened to everyone anyways? I don't recognize a lot of the names in here anymore.

I can well imagine. Leading the girl along for that length of time only to say you've changed your mind, well, you deserve whatever tongue-lashing you get. >

It could be that you need a certain level of renegade to access the renegade rejection.  I usually have a few renegade points by the end of the game from headbutting krogans and such.

not really.  tali is WAY more interesting than ashley ever was.  besides, ashleys the one that started the fight on horizon to begin with.  she brought it on herself if you ask me.  the "apology" email you get later on was just too little too late.  my only gripe with the events on horizon was that my only rebuttal to the whole "epic ass chewing" was "i was in a coma for two years".  that kinda torqued me a little but.

Have you reached Horizon yet?  No one who romanced Ashley should feel bad in the least about cheating on her.  It was a fault on Biowares part for not putting in a more concrete *break up with Ashley right now* option.  I honestly can't see anyone in their right mind who would want to stay with her after one night of sex, two years apart, and that godawful reaction.

Liara may be a different story, but I liked Ashley more than her in ME1, so I never romanced her.

I only slept with the blue lady, because Ash's nose frightened me.. I never really liked her

Well seeing as my LI choices for ME:1 were Ashley, the boarderline racist or Liara who I'm still calling a blue Vulcan....

My canon Shep remained single. Worked out pretty damn well I think

I felt really bad, actually.  Something about seeing that pic face down was... I dunno, just bad.  But not bad enough to do differently.

I hope for a chance to settle things in a more clear manner in ME3.

Maybe if Liara didn't turn so. . .well. . .cruel in the 2nd game I'd feel a little bad, but as it is. . .no, not really. Sorry.

Her lower corner break up option shows up if you have another female in the romance stages. Basically Shepard pulls a 180 on Tali after all the "you're more important than the mission" by saying "Oops nope, mission is number one. Gotta focus"

She gets pretty ticked. Even has angry dialogue when you chat her up after.

"Shepard... I need to work. Just leave me alone"
