Cheating's what makes current LI's so much fun though, like how I cheated on Jack with Miranda....

I think what she went through between games is a little overrated personaly.  So she recovered your body for Cerberus and made sure TSB/the collectors didn't get it.  I'm sorry, but you're telling me that Garrus or Wrex or Kaiden wouldn't have done that for you as well if asked?  It isn't exactly an act of love.

Then her random feud against the person who tried to profit from your death instead of teaming up with you, the person she loves, to get revenge on the people who actually killed you?  It makes no sense no matter how you look at it.

We've already been down the path of girlfriends turning into their mothers. It wasn't pretty. Until Liara stops being so cold, we'll stick with Creator-Tali'Zorah.

Could be used for good screens. Just turn off subtitles, please god, turn them off. She did look pretty sweet while (rightfully) badmouthing you.

And even though I would choose Tali everytime no matter what, I figured I'd point out that after finishing Tali's romance subplot I got FIFTY gamerscore.  Up yours Ashley.

Yeah, I find Liara in ME2 to be pretty indefensible from an ethical standpoint.  She made me feel yucky for hooking up with her in the first place.  I wish I had had an option to shut down her operation, honestly.

Wait how can you do that, cheat on an ME2 romance?

You have the option to romance Jack early... It's not as fruitful as the paragon romance, but it's so damn hawt

Get them up to the magic 'conflict' point? Did that with Jack...Told her to eff off though. No crazy bald **** coming between me and Tali

Forget that.  I'm gonna take my medicine like a man.

The playthrough actually doesn't take long at all if you skip all the extra stuff. I did the entire thing in one afternoon. Talked to Liara, told her I wasn't interested, and I blew up Ashley on Virmire. Did all the dialogue with Tali, but not her quest, sadly. I should fix that.
I just feel better about romancing Tali without a previous LI, since it doesn't feel like she's my "second choice".

And don't forget she doesn't give this "quest" to save the galaxy, so she'd have all organic life die for revenge.
