dude it wont be deformed unless u smoke or drink beer of course it might have slight changes like its purple but it has human hands and feet

Even if the dna could match up, I'm pretty sure there'd be some crazy deformities. Looking at hands, as you suggested: one species has small, thin hands with three long digits. The other had wide, thick hands with five stubby digits. That kid's gonna have some weird hands, either way. Either it'll have way too many bones trying to squeeze into a quarian hand size, or human-like hands with really long, slender fingers. And that's just hands...

Better story is relationship suriving inability to produce children. Couple overcome obstacles. Or not. Become strong. Or broken. Very dramatic. Would prefer to see Shepard/Tali overcome difficulties.

I second this.  One of many reasons that makes the Tali/Shepard relationship supreme is that they have to overcome significant obstacles to make it work.  It makes it that much more rewarding.

Yeah, some deux ex machina explanation for having kids cheapens the sacrifices they have to make to be together.

I can't see how not being able to have a child would be any big obstacle in the relationship. It happens often in our world, there is a such thing as adoption if you really want a child. The fact that it doesn't have Tali and Shep's genetics doesn't mean it wouldn't be the same in every other sense. Plus the whole one human kid one quarian kid family strikes me as a better solution than a hybrid that would probably face significant problems in its lifetime from health to general acceptance.



As far as whether its possible, no point in debating that other than for fun I guess. If Bioware wants it to be possible, it will be. I can't see the story line progressing that far anyway, does anyone really expect a *and 5 years after they defeated the reapers...* epilogue?

This.  Adoption is a great thing, and considering how violent the ME universe gets, I'm sure there are tons of needy orphans out there.
