Misconception, renegades can be very nice people.  I'm very nice to all my crew members and everyone who deserves it.  Mercs and other criminals die, or are threatened down instead of bargained with.  It isn't my fault that there are a lot more of the latter than the former in ME2.

Renegade definitely does not mean someone who picks the bottom right choice in every possible situation, that's a whole different, rather insane level.

And Tali is a lot more renegade then some give her credit for.  She advocates one of the more renegade decisions in blowing up the heretic station, and she is consistently renegade in everything involving the geth.  Her responses to Prazza and Qwib Qwib are definitely the bottom right choice as well.  She's just very nice to everyone who deserves it, just like my renegade Shep

There are a few renegades here, but we are definitely vastly outnumbered.  Just because we're renegade doesn't mean we can't love Tali just as much :innocent:

I need to consolidate some facts and then go on a crusade against you goodie goodies...

Nah, I'll stick to cherry picking arguements and leaving the rest to one of the other two renegades in the thread...

Morning all, just dropping by before taking the family out.


I do play both Paragon and Renegade though I think its called "renegon" since he's got more paragon choices in then someone who plays "cruel stupid" or pure renegade and I do enjoy that playthrough in ME2 eventhough I didn't enjoy ME1's renegade path. ME2 renegade choices were mostly "ruthless sensible" while ME1's renegade choices sometimes felt more like "lets just kick the three legged dog while its begging for food" thing.

Anyways, having said that, if given a choice, I prefer my Paragade over my Renegon. I prefer to try to be nice to people and my own RL philosophy in dealing with people is that I try to give everyone the benefit of doubt before I kick them in the balls. 

I do hope they (Bioware) refine the Renegade choices even more and much like what is found in ME2, the line between Paragon and Renegade blurs and sometimes crosses over.

I still don't like how the heartless Renegade moves are mixed with the baddass ones
Example: killing the Krogan whos ranting about killing the galaxy is pretty badass, but giving the evidence and killing Tali's fathers reputation is heartless. I would waste the krogan in a heartbeat, but never trun in the eveidence, especially after Tali asked me not to

I meant the heartless renegade, not the badass renegade. I also got some rep points with my shep for doing badass moves, but for the rest my paragon bar is filled

tali is only renegade when it involves geth or anyone making stupid decisions. But for the rest, shes an angel. My angel
