Aye, I enjoy the the heady winds of adventure when embarking upon new (or old) horizons, though packing and such is far from stress free in my experience. I'm heading back to Scandinavia once more; guess I'll see if I can stay put there for more than a couple of years this time around.

Well March 17 is St. Pattys day so you can do all your celebrating then;)

You may be onto something there. I'm gonna get loud and wasted at the airport, miss my flight, and wake up bruised and in handcuffs.

Oh, man.  I love airport bars.  There's something so... strange about them.  I was a barman for eight years, worked in all kinds of places, but I always wanted to run an airport bar.  They're so bizarre.  There are no regulars, none of the patrons ever see one another again, and almost everyone is terrified of what they're about to do next, i.e. get on the plane.  They have this weird, brittle sort of camaraderie and a fundamental transience that I find completely fascinating.

One of the weirdest places on earth.

Welcome to Washington then!  It's rainy right now, but you'll really like the Summer.  What part are you moving to?

I'm moving in with my uncle in Tacoma, but just to start off. I'm already looking for a place in Seattle with my girlfriend, it would just be a little bit easier if I could actually go and take a look so I think I'll have to wait till I'm there.

Seattle is a cool place, that's where my girlfriend lives too.  It's definitely the most crowded place in Seattle, but there are lots of cool places to go, most of them you can walk or ride the bus to.  And if you like the outdoors, there are a bazillion awesome places to go hiking and camping within an hour or two hours drive.

I've been there several times and always thought it would be amazing to live there. I'm hoping to find out I was right. Of course, I'm hoping my girlfriend does too...Otherwise we may have to look for some place else.

Mmmm! The sweet yet not overpowering perfumed scent of a woman who's just showered or bathed was heavenly in comparison to the soldier funk one came to expect while serving in the military.

You would think me insane if you knew. The only reason I believe it is religion. All I know is I must be patient for another 43 years. Why 43 years, even I don't know why.

From what my parents tell me it's cold. They still have large amounts of snow in their garden (which is not to say that all areas of Scandinavia are still covered with snow). I'm in The Netherlands at present and here's it just grey and a bit wet at present time.

It is.

What country, may I ask.  My ancestors are Swedish and I think one was Norwegian.  I wouldn't mind being in your place: you guys have some of hottest women and in my opinion the best music!  Practically everything I listen to comes from there.
