All joking aside, it really, truly takes a lot to make me come close to tears anymore, and this did. I don't really know what to say, except, wow, it was a truly emotional experience. I put myself in your Shepard's shoes and could feel exactly what he was feeling. The way your story was written really allows for someone to do that, and that's something I like to see in stories.

Had to have a few people point that out for me to notice it, lol.  I guess I'm so used to seeing Tali signatures that I don't look below the comments anymore.

Actually, I also have read your story before: probably about 7-10 days ago back on thread 2.0 when someone suggested it.  It's labeled as "unknown" on the 1st page of the thread, so I didn't know before that you wrote it.

I thought it was an awesome story though, totally broke my heart.  I read this on the same day I had completed the game with my first Shepard, and Tali died trying to shut the door at the Collector base.  I felt pretty bad when that happened, but I felt REALLY bad after reading your story.  I mean, not that it's a bad thing, because it means you did a great job with your descriptions and emotions, but damn was it sad.

Seriously though, you're a great writer.  Keep up the good work!

The whole reason I wrote that story was because my Tali was also shot and it just put a lump in my gut. I've never slammed on the power button so fast in my life. Even after I fixed my mistake, I still felt bad, so I decided to write the way I felt down in story form in hopes that I could stop feeling like ****.
Besides, that's the way Shepard SHOULD have acted! Not even a tear. Heartless bastard. <_<

People were talking about this before.  The reason that uniform was chosen is because the dress uniform has the cerberus logo is on the dress uniform, which would probably be out of place in this setting.

No kidding. And if you put here as leader, she slumps against the wall, says something about suit ruptures, and just dies. I saw that on youtube and I'm thinking "uh...okay?" Pretty underwhelming.

How did you guys get Tali killed? If you did her loyalty, it must have been the team leader, right?

You can get her killed in the vents even if she is loyal by having someone who isn't loyal or fit to lead as the fire team leader.
