Know what's funny?
I was doing my Insanity playthrough a week or two ago... and I figured since it was going to be a throw away playthrough, I'd try and get everyone killed. Wanted to beat the game as fast as possible, so no loyalty missions. I did Tali's though, just cause I love seeing the romance, but no one else was loyal, and I wanted to see the Shepard dies ending, so I planned on getting everyone killed.
Funny thing? I had Tali lead the second Fire Team, and she survived. She took a shot, then shrugged it off like Garrus.
I don't get it... can she be used as a Fire Team Leader, and Mordin as the Tech Specialist if certain conditions are met or what?
Or was it a glitch?

Hey, it's almost baseball season, at least. I don't like everything the Red Sox did in the offseason, but they should be better than last year.

Yeah, kind of funny how the basketball season crashing down coincides with the first week of spring training. I have no worries about the Red Sox making the playoffs or anything, their good enough, its just whether or not they all freeze up at the worst possible time for the third year in a row.
And to tie this in to Tali, Tali would definitely be a Red Sox fan if given the opportunity

Oh, no doubt. Tali's a classy lady.
I'm not crazy about the giant contract they gave Lackey, and Scutaro is just this year's terrible and overpaid shortstop, but I like Cameron in center and Beltre at third. Our defense is going to be ridiculous. The Sox starters are going to end the year with amazing stats. I wouldn't sleep on Papi, either. I expect a bounceback season from him.

After watching Lugo these past years, I don't care how much they're paying Scutaro. If he can successfully field more than half the balls hit to him, he wins in my book.
I'm with you on the Lackey contract, but finances are one of my lesser concerns with the Red Sox. Worst case scenario he's a solid regular season rotation guy, what do I care if the Sox give him a few extra million? And Beckett or Lester have to win the Cy this year. With the defense and Halladay gone?
Every season seems like it will come down to a Yanks Sox ALCS with the winner taking the world series. Although I said that last year too, hoping it goes better this time <_<

Eh, Scutaro's an average fielder at best. I wish they had kept Gonzalez, that guy had a vacuum cleaner for a glove.
As for the Cy, it's going to be tough to compete against King Felix and Cliff Lee in Seattle. They're going to have the best defense in baseball, bar none, and a hell of a pitcher's park to play 81 games in. Beckett and Lester still have to deal with Fenway.
Not gonna lie, the Yanks worry me. That lineup is insane. Sure, their defense is awful, but they have a solid starting rotation and an okay bullpen. I just hope that Jeter, Posada and Rivera finally start showing their age. I predict another wild card, and anything can happen in the baseball playoffs.

I guess the hope there is that the Mariners don't actually score any runs, and they can't wrack up the wins needed to sway voters. Sabathia probably has a better chance overall by getting 20+ wins even if his ERA is a point higher. Plus could always have a situation like with the Cardinals last year where the 2 guys split votes with each other.
As far as the Yankees, I mean they have to break down at some point right? Posada I would at least expect to have a particularly bad year. Rivera will probably be just as good as always, with Jeter somewhere in the middle. My biggest concern is if they get a clutch A-Rod again. I don't think I could handle another year of A-Rod postseason praise
A lot could change between now and then though. it's what, 9 months before actually meaningful games?

The voters seem to be getting smarter when it comes to the Cy, ignoring wins and paying more attention to actual performance statistics. Felix is my pick for the Cy Young this year, and I'm betting on the M's to win the West, even if they do it with a lot of 2-1 ballgames.
All I really want from this year? Really, really? Is for Jeter to just have an utterly horrid performance. I don't care that much about A-Rod, the Yankee fans treated him like s**t for five years when he was putting up MVP numbers. I am just absolutely sick of people fawning over Jeter.
They talk about Jeter like I talk about Tali, and that's just not okay. Only Tali deserves that kind of affection.
One more reason to keep up the Tali love.

As far as A-Rod, I guess it wouldn't be a disastor to have him do OK again. At least we got Peyton back as a whipping boy. It was brutal when we lost Kobe A-Rod and Peyton all in a row though.
I would probably agree that Felix is the favorite, although I'm still expecting good things from Beckett and Lester. I got all excited last year when their was the rumors about the Sox trading the farm system for him. I really hope they don't do that for Adrian Gonzalez this year though.
And I do like that picture. Probably close to what she will actually look like, I don't see Bioware going too extreme with her face. Although I really don't expect her to be blue, something about the two alien races for Shep being the same color...

I'm a purple guy myself. I can see the pale argument, but there's also no guarantee that quarians work on the same principles for sun light that we do. Her color is one of my lesser concerns though, blue, purple or white wouldn't make any real difference.
