Perhaps not.  The early Geth might not have been equipped with long term video recording technology.  My theory is that they recorded up to a point and then automatically erased the data at the end of the day.  This gets rid of unnessecary data that the geth had no use for at the time. Audio is easier to store and wasnt the bit that Legion played just a fragment anyway?

Good point...hmm, back to the drawing board.

From a practical perspective I have a difficult time accepting that there are no diagrams nor descriptions of Quarians amongst other galactic species. There are still Asari, and possibly Krogan, alive who remember a time before the Geth uprising. Granted, memories can dim and become distorted with the passage of time yet nonetheless that should at the very least offer a means of some partial reconstruction. Besides, what about medical, historical and cultural texts kept by other sapient species? Just as the Alliance has a Codex that deals with matters both human and alien, I'd be very surprised if the other species didn't do the same - it's practically inconceivable that the Asari and the Salarians wouldn't keep extensive records (to the best of their abilities) on other species.

I suspect it simply boils down to a design decision by BioWare to keep the Quarian gimmick/mystery.

Yup, this. It's very obvious BioWare is teasing Tali fans with the complete lack of "What do Quarians look like?"-footage. I just hope they'll show us in ME3.

Hey, I haven't played MF2 
I didn't want to support a publisher jacking up the price (PC version anyway), just because they had a major release they could get away with it.

I refuse to buy games with certain types of DRM and games that come with mandatory Steamworks registration are glorified rentals and thus will be treated as such. In other words: Until the price matches that of a rental I won't buy it. They want to play hardball? Fine. I'm game and time is on my side because the companies need the money of gamers like me. I/we don't need their games. So keep pushing ass holes. I'll give up gaming before I capitulate to their bull****.

I know, and personally, I'm not against a certain amount of off-topicness, but it's been a bit too much even for me in the last two days. Unfortunately, it takes away some of the "credibility" of the thread. I've seen people already claiming that this thread is nothing more than "7" people talking about random things, not a Tali support thread. I have to add though, the person who posted that was a severe idiot.

i agree that we have been severly off topic lately and it has been bugging me a bit cause ill come in everyone is talking about soup or something but i think the problem is alot of us have become a tight knit group of friends and we start talking like were just here for conversation i dont think thats a bad thing to have a small talk off topic everyonce in awhile but some times they get out of hand and take up 3 or 4 pages of random conversation
