You can find a "death mask" on Tuchanka that gives you the 10% Negotiation bonus. I concede that the amplifier plates only give 5% power damage increase however.komenusai wrote...
Inferno Armor (Best Buy, Amazon Promotionals)
- Negotiation bonus increase by 10%
- Increases power damage by 10%
- Increases storm speed by 10%
An interesting armor. It's biggest intrigue comes from it's 10% increase to negotiation. With this increase, it is easier to choose either Paragon or Renegade choices without having to earn so many points toward each respective attribute. Along with that interesting power, you gain a boost in power and storm speed. This armor is definitely unique and cannot be replicated with N7 Parts.

I have access to Inferno, Collectors, BDA, and Cerberus
None of em are worth using imo, you can combine the N7 for almost the same or better bonuses in every instance

I agree that their lack of customization is definitely a turn off for most players. Having to constantly go back and forth to switch between armors is a hassle. Everyone would rather go out and simply have more customizable fun with their armor pieces, Which I think is what Bioware is trying to do.Varenus Luckmann wrote...
The fact that these armors all have unique roles to play underlines the issue of them not being broken up into parts, or being covered by helmets, making them virtually unusable by a large portion of the players.
But I still think that even with the customizable armor pieces, the Bonus armors would always top the N7 armor in specific areas. Depending on the players play style, these Bonus Armors can be either a great gift or a curse. In my experience the Bonus armors are as close to me as my guns. But that is just my personal experience.

XD Damn I really need to get some rest. All nighters do horrible things for my focus. But thank you. I will edit once again.Grand_Commander13 wrote...
Your Inferno Armor entry is still wrong. The closest you can get with the N7 Armor is: +10% Negotiation, +10% Storm Speed, +8% Power damage, +5% Weapon damage (or any other Arm slot).

It is my hope that they are properly incorporated into the game, and not just handed over to you magically, by Cerberus.J3N5 wrote...
I seriously hope that future DLC will include "Armour Part Packs", that was how I had hoped they made the DLC armours.
Armors, weapons, research and items should be found in missions, bought at stores, dropped from enemies. Not just handed over in their overpowered glory like from the powers that be.

Also I added a bunch of N7 parts so anyone may fiddle around with combinations in an attempt to boost their chances of outdoing the Bonus armors.
Not a hard task...or is it?

Perhaps for bonuses:
+15% Shields
+5% weapon ammo
+10% Weapon Dmg
However, for the +15% shields, you would get a -5% to negotiating, because everyone hates quarians.

From what I can tell, Upgrades you research are seperate from armor upgrades. But in the end they are all tallied together. So in a sense, yes the upgrades you do are interconnected with the bonuses the armor gives out.rt604 wrote...
Does upgrades effect the bonuses of these armor sets? Anyone know.

In a way having a helmet is more realistic than going without for the amount of combat shepard sees. That said I usually stick to visors to see the facial expressions.

That being said, even with the Dr. Pepper gear, most N7 combinations actually fall short of the DLC Armor.

I did the comparison to test out this, and quite honestly, I don't think falling short of 2-5% is worth it to watch a smile or an enraged face would be. I must be one of the few who enjoys helmets then. For damage output for Soldiers/Infiltrators/Vanguards, an N7 Armor will probably be better, for Techs, using Damage reduction form Cerberus/Terminus Armor is great, unless you've got the Collector Armor. Adepts and Techs benefit wonderfully with the Blood Dragon Armor.
I guess I'm just the emotionless person who enjoys combat Armor over my Red and Black, or pink Armor who doesn't care about reactions when my life is at stake. In these situations, I would wear fully encased Armor with a sealed helmet for a variety of situations, then again I only use an Adept Character with BDA, so it doesn't really matter.
