I actually haven't lost a party member before. While I'm at it, I might as well take Legion on Tali's recruitment and lose some crew. I ought to have at least one Fail!Shep for ME3.

Hm. I think next round I might hold off on upgrading stuff and make a branch save before the Omega-4 Relay to get her killed, then. What is it that takes out Jack? Missing armor or missing shields?

Pretty sure it's missing armor. No weapons kills Thane, and no shields kills Legion.
Although if you take Thane with you to fight the "eye" thing in the cargo bay Garrus dies instead.

Yeah, lets not do that.

Half (and hopefully all) your squad also trusts your judgment more than they hate her.
I think it's actually that they trust Shep's judgement regarding her judgement.
That's exactly what I meant.

There's where Garrus gets pissed at Miranda.

Actually that ties into how much Garrus values trust doesn't it? Him saying that he respects Shepard more then anyone else may have been a teeny tiny confession; if we look at Turian culture, and make the proper assumptions. That would be kind of great.

My only disappointment in Garrus was that he actually suggested in keeping the Collector base.

Well, I myself was conflicted over whether or not to keep it but in the end I decided to blow it up. Garrus was just trying to play devil's advocate--he didn't seem to have particularly strong feelings about your decision either way.
Kinda funny how he seems to be the ONLY squadmember who approves of keeping the base, though.

I actually think keeping the Collector base was good idea. If you think about it Garrus was probably thinking more along the lines of "Let's keep it to get the edge on the Reapers so that these peoples live weren't lost for nothing" rather then the more accepted view of "Let's give this base to Cerberus so they can dominate the universe". I have complete faith in Shepard's ability to kick TIM's ass if he tries anything like that.

Actually Mordin and Grunt also try to talk you in to keeping it.

Really? That's good to know. I guess there is more diversity than I previously thought.

Besides, Shepard does not need that technology to kick ass.

Legion will be carefully neutral about it, but points out that keeping the base won't undo the deaths the Reapers and Collectors caused. Later, after the mission, he approves of Shep's decision to blow it to hell.

The problem I have with the base is indoctrination.
*Nod* I admit it was a concern, but the base itself is not a Reaper and technically shouldn't be able to indoctrinate, but I don't know, and it Disturbed Me A Lot to consider the possibility.

Still, I blew up the base. Didn't like the thought of TIM dominating the galaxy with his little terrorist organization. Definitely did not like the idea of what he would have done to the aliens.

Well, the thing that stinks is that if you do destroy it, it's byebye to the last few Protheans, too, even though they're gene-modded to the point where they aren't really Protheans anymore. Plus Garrus does have a point about putting those lost lives to use...

I doubt that was the only Collector ship. Does that say that somewhere? It was a major base, yes, but there are likely other ships.

Curious, did you like Garrus' original costume? Or his loyalty colors?
Loyalty. Hides the damage better.
