@ Hyrule_Gal: Again, poor Lorik. I can't think of any of my Shepards who would do that to him, not even EvilShep. It would be awesome if he showed up in ME3 to buy Shepard a drink, especially if he used that "two's company, four's a croud" line. xD But... why does Shepard say "Goodbye"? She should have a drink with him.

Because  I imagine you would get default Lorik convo for male and female shepard and right at the end when you say you have to go (so you select "I should  go") you get added (what I typed) dialogue for femshep that implies Lorik wanted a date with you and not just a friendly drink.

Watching my husband play MaleShep and he got the same lines from Tali that I swear to God did not sound flirty to my femShep, but like the same lines Garrus utters to both they sounded flirty.



I'm so giving the evidence to Lorik in my next ME1 game.

I always help Gianna... but I always chat up Lorik every chance I get prior to that. I mean, Asari always go on about how they have their 'wild maiden days' where they dance and mate and/or kill those they meet... so I think one of my Shepards should have some 'wild maiden days' of her own. Granted, if she just happens to focus on Turians it just is a case of inter-galatic outreach to further understanding between species.

I think the name for Garrus fans is Clan Vakarian now. (This reminded me to check the group, and I found out that I'm an Officer now. Awesome. xD What kind of powers do Officers have?)

That makes sense. Unfortunately, that's probably what would happen. MaleShep gets a kiss from Gianna and both get some kind of weird flirtation from Shiala and the Consort though... so it seems that the flirting/displays of affection from NPCs only happens in-game if it's unwelcome? Poor Shepards.

@ Xsauce: That's hilarious. If Saren said that, I think my MainShep's response would be, "I must be dreaming. Wait, he's serious? :D"

Well, I don't know about anyone else, but I can fly up to an altitude of 9 feet and shoot laser-beams from my ears. Also, everything I touch turns into pudding. To be honest, it's making typing on my lappy kinda difficult.

Actually, I just found out the source of those banners last night m'self. Prompting me to almost spit wine all over my keyboard. I coughed a lot. It kinda hurt. Then I laughed. Hard.

As for officer powers... I've discovered that I can now here background music in my daily life which is hella helpful. I mean, when it gets really intense I know something is coming. Kinda like a spidey-sense only with music. That and I can create a desire for Mt.Dew in random people walking by. /sage nod

EDIT: lovgreno, I just inhalled my soda reading those. OUCHIE. Too cute.

I really hope there’s some male attention in ME3 ,  no offence to the asari but my canon shep doesn't bat for that team

It's amusing how Harbinger's name has been shortened to "Harby" now. Sort of like calling the Illusive Man "Timmy."

Liara is like that to my MaleShep too. I have to play through Virmire soon to see if she shows up in the scene where the Normandy is grounded. D: I really hope not. My MainShep didn't have this problem as much because she didn't talk to Liara, but... I still say this is how the "asari promiscuity rumors" she talks about keep getting started. Shepard needs to hide behind his/her biotic barrier. (My poor Shepard who likes Aria. She's one of the only asari who doesn't flirt with him.)

Meeting aria was a breath for fresh air "Wow an asari that ISN'T humping my leg!" I never got Liara's insistance that Asari women weren't promiscuous , I mean , the first experience you have with them is in a high class brothel

Yeah, I probably wouldn't have thought Aria was awesome if she tried to flirt with my MainShep (who is female), even if one of my MaleSheps would have liked the option. Bad first impressions. The asari flirt too much in my opinion, and the turians hardly flirt at all. There are a few who do though.

My friend protested my constant talking about LI and romance in relation to the ME games. "That's not what they're ABOUT!" I had to correct him. They are, indeed, PART of what it is about. And I don't think it is a bad thing to encourage more focus on it as well as the combat. Why is it so hard to merge a good fighting/shooting game with a more inter-personal game? (I will not say dating sim. I have a dating sim game. They are TOTALLY different. I was young. Don't judge me. *pout* The art is pretty. >_> )



I'd love to be able to chat up more NPCs for reactions and vice versa. XD Like that one sleezy Turian who shoots the Batarian Bartender in Afterlife. I know at least one of my Sheps that would be going "oh really?" with interest at his 'have a mate and ship and only brought one with me' comment. (She's a bad girl. Bad bad girl.)

The cop on Ilium during Samara's recruitment quest doesn't flirt. She actually *gasp* does her job! Same with... that one who gives you a lift to the Dantius Towers to find Thane. But yeah, overall, I think asari are just supposed to be "blue lesbian space babes" courtesy of Bioware (at least in their eyes).

Parsini's line about them being "so ageless and superior but squeal like little schoolgirls"  in ME2 really does seem appropriate.

Oh, you got that right...bad VO will render a game virtually unplayable, if it's bad enough.  The most tragic example I found was "Keepsake", a fairly decent adventure game from a few years back.  The reason it's tragic is that, while every single voice actor in the entire game was unmitigatedly atrocious (and I can't stress that enough), the male main character is actually voiced by a very talented actor, and that 1.) makes me feel bad for him being stuck with those other people and 2.) makes everyone else sound even worse by comparison.

Before I met Garrus and his heart-melting voice, my personal vote for sexiest voice acting went to Stephen Russell for Garrett, the Thief main character.  I loved those games for years, and I used to sit here with my eyes closed and just listen to the sound files of him saying the lines. /sigh

Sorry, Steve.   Brandon is better at the sexy-voice thing. <3
