Loyalty. Can't really say why, but I just prefer it. (Although I will say I wanted it repaired like 30984309840 other people have already stated in this thread)

I'm going to start coloring a sketch I did soon, and I intend to post it here when done. Trying to please my fellow fans, y'know.

Dark blue, black, and red make a more interesting color composition.

I prefer his loyalty outfit too. The silver makes it look very cool.

Well, the thing that stinks is that if you do destroy it, it's byebye to the last few Protheans, too, even though they're gene-modded to the point where they aren't really Protheans anymore. Plus Garrus does have a point about putting those lost lives to use...

Still, I blew up the base. Didn't like the thought of TIM dominating the galaxy with his little terrorist organization. Definitely did not like the idea of what he would have done to the aliens.

No, if you keep the base you still let off the wave of death that kills all the Collectors. Fun thing my friend pointed out; for Paragons, the base explosion is red. For Renegades, the death-pulse explosion is blue.

I wish bioware made an expansion pack for me 2 that concentrates on Garrus and his squads' exploits on omega

No, it's dependent on whether you blow it up (Paragon) or save it (Renegade), not your actual alignment.

Well that makes sense since you still give off some sort of energy pulse or something if you save it.  Energy pulses seem to be blue in ME.

There's where Garrus gets pissed at Miranda.

Aw, that's awesome. I had wondered what Garrus's thoughts on the matter were when Jack was around, as you can see him shaking his head when she voices her disagreement with Miranda leading the team. Was he annoyed that they were fighting again or was he agreeing with Jack? Now I know.

Which does make me question why Miranda should ever work in either fire team situation. Shepard is the only one who has the trust of everyone on the team. I would think Miranda, Garrus or Jacob would only work as a leader depending on who they were left to lead. Garrus or Jack wouldn't trust Miranda. I imagine Miranda wouldn't trust Garrus. I can imagine Thane wouldn't trust Jacob.

Hm? I wasn't trying to imply that Garrus is weak or submissive. But the female turian struck me as the more aggressive one (I like to imagine female turians as pretty tough on average anyway so perhaps that is my personal bias showing through). It's just the impression I got when he was describing that encounter; he almost sounded...sheepish? I didn't really get a "AND THEN I HIT THAT GOOD!" vibe at all.

Yeah, he does sound a little sheepish as he finishes the story.

But I got more of a "amused/slightlysheepish but mostly reminiscing" tone of voice.  Damn...I'm having a very hard time describing this tone here.  It's that kind of smooth customer talk that you use when you're telling a conquest story and about halfway through the sentence you realize that the person you're telling it to might not find it as entertaining as you do?  Not always, but...Gah nevermind, I'm failing at this.  (OH GOD MAYBE I'M JUST CRAZY.)

EDIT:
re: Garrus POINTING EMPHATICALLY.

Ditto.  And then I kept it loaded with the tab open because...what if I wanted to watch it again?  It was with great reluctance that I finally closed that window.

(Yet another thing I love about this place: I don't think I could survive without all of the "Oh thank god I'm not the only one" moments that I get here.  Nice to know that if I'm an not crazy.  And if I am, at least I have company. :P)

Well...it looks like I'll have to kill Jack on my main Shep so I can role play in my head how turned on she is by his POINTING in an EMPHATIC fashion.

Sorry, SuZe! You'll always have a special sisterly place in my heart...right next to Morrigan. ^_^

Anyway...I have a general disdain for 4chan's /v/ board (I haven't ventured outside of /x/ and the two wall paper boards since...I graduated high school, really) but ever since Mass Effect 2 came out I feel like I can not stay away. So...much...Garrus...

Huh.

For real? I'm making my "Apparently most of my gender has 'issues' when it comes to men" face now.

Judging by the replies I think some people didn't actually read the poll, and think it's for maleSHEP or femSHEP and not "you the actual player, as your FemShep". Silly people.

That video is awesome. :D I won't let Jack die in any of my playthroughs just to see it in-game though.

My main Shepard will keep the base. She actually ended up liking the Illusive Man, so that base is her "thank you" present to him for bringing her back to life. xD It won't be easy to make some of my other Shepards blow it up because TIM is now one of my favorite characters too...
